POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a full-time technician to join our team. The candidate must have good communication and people skills when working with our Restaurant Managers, staff, the Technician Supervisor, and peers. The position duties include installs and repairs on a variety of equipment, including grills, fryers, toasters, microwaves, refrigeration and HVAC. We have restaurants in Tucson, Nogales, Sierra Vista and Benson.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural background and with co-workers at all levels.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to prepare and maintain work orders.
• Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks within strict deadlines.
• Must have knowledge of methods, materials, tools, parts, and techniques used in the repair and maintenance of restaurant equipment.
• Must have Type 1 & 2 (Universal) EPA certification.
• Must have experience and knowledge of repairs to refrigeration.
• Must have experience and knowledge of repairs to HVAC units.
• Must have knowledge of concepts of electricity and safety practices related to electricity.
• Ability to use any electrical testers and interpret readings.
• Ability to trouble shoot electrical problems relating to faulty/malfunctioning equipment.
• Must have knowledge and ability to order parts, supplies or service manuals related to equipment repairs.
• Must have knowledge of work hazards and safety procedures.
• Must have knowledge of use of maintenance tools.
• Must have knowledge of the methods and practices used in preventive maintenance and repair work within a 24-hour operation.

Our Field Service Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices inside of hospitals, pharmacies and other clinical settings. The current product line being supported is an _automated_ _medication dispensing system._
We are hiring ASAP. This is a PART-TIME, On-Call, Field Service Technician opportunity with approximately 20 hours per week.
You will have a flexible schedule and an opportunity to grow and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and learning the medical device industry.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Troubleshoot and repair existing devices and document the activities correctly.
+ Hardware parts replacement, as well as software updates and calibrations.
+ Perform bi-annual or yearly preventative maintenance as determined by the customer.
+ Assist in the installation and implementation of new devices at customer locations.
+ Conduct routine system checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
+ Maintain and stock parts and tools assigned by customer.
+ Per-diem position requiring travel and flexibility to work with your current schedule.
+ Available on-call including nights and weekends. Travel locally for up to 2-3 hours to support customer needs.
+ Respond to and arrive at customer sites within the service ticket's Service Level Agreement (within 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours per the details of each ticket)
**Job Requirements:**
+ Must have intermediate troubleshooting abilities in the disciplines of electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems.
+ Experience as a military technician, computer technician or other complex electronics technician preferred. Experience supporting automation equipment in a healthcare setting is a plus.
+ A+ certification preferred.
+ Experience in healthcare, field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, customer service, pharmacy technician, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is beneficial for this position.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer support.
+ Must have an active driver licenseand a personal vehicle to use for job related assignments (travel time and mileage are reimbursed)
+ This position requires a considerable amount of pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting to 70 LBS
