Cherry Bekaert's Strategic Financing Services Advisory Team (SFS) is looking for a New Markets Tax Credits Applications and Strategic Planning Director (Director). We offer an opportunity to work with a team of experts with a deep track record in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) allocation applications, CDFI Fund Applications, other Government and Philanthropic funding applications, strategic planning services for community development entities and projects, NMTC placement and deployment assistance, and NMTC compliance and asset management services.
The Director will oversee the Application and Strategic Planning activities for Community Development Entities (CDEs), Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), Community Lenders and Nonprofits (collectively Community Development Organizations). The Director will work with the Community Development Organizations to help them build internal and external capacity, clarify their Mission, Vision and Values (MVV), formalize their strategic plans and execute their strategic plans so that they holistically work towards upholding and achieving their MVV as they expand and add new services. The Director will lead a team of Application Writers and Community Development Specialists, manage the process of writing NMTC Applications, manage the grant writing and applications process for clients seeking funding from other funding programs, and expand the portfolio of clients. The Director will work collaboratively internally and externally to achieve measurable results for the team, the clients and the communities our clients serve.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Application Writing
+ Managing of Application and Grant writing team

In collaboration with other leaders, the CMO focuses on understanding, addressing and improving operational processes, to improve quality and safety, but also make it easier to deliver care while simultaneously improving access, throughput, and experience (both provider and patient).
The CMO is responsible for the hospital staff to ensure evidence-based practice standards, protocols, and direction are in place, and ensures the highest quality and efficiency of patient care in accord with the organization's mission and values. The CMO acts as the primary liaison between Administration and the hospital staff on a wide variety of matters relevant to developing and sustaining a strong collaborative relationship. The CMO is also responsible for overseeing and advancing medical staff affairs processes, including privileging, credentialing, peer review, and provider performance (both clinical and behavioral). In addition, the CMO supports and advances physician recruitment, retention, and engagement endeavors along with the educational experience of all trainees.
The Ideal Candidate:- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience as a clinical physician required.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of physician leadership experience including a strong quality and safety background.
- MD, DO, MD/PhD or equivalent is required.
- Board certified in pediatrics or a pediatric sub-specialty.
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Florida.

GENERAL SUMMARY : The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) provides physician leadership. Responsible for improving clinical outcomes for internally tracked performance improvement data and publicly reported outcomes. Overall responsibility for performance improvement, risk management, safety and clinical quality, continuing medical education, the medical staff office, medical school affiliation(s), and residency programs. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Leads in the continuing adoption of evidence based medicine by the medical staff and the protocols that come with evidence based model approach.
