Key responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership: Develop and communicate the overall strategy for Platte River Power Authority, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and vision.

Coordinate ongoing relationships with program officers and funder representatives to ensure alignment, transparency, and future opportunities

Oversee timely and accurate grant reporting in collaboration with Finance and program teams

Brand & Marketing Strategy

Build SFRCs brand equity and visibility in regional and national arenas

Lead development and execution of strategic marketing, advertising, and digital engagement strategies

Ensure alignment of messaging and brand presence across social media, print, and web platforms

Work cross-functionally to support storytelling and impact communications

Cross-Functional Leadership

Serve as a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, shaping and aligning SFRCs strategic direction

Operate effectively in a matrixed, dotted-line structure with influence-based leadership across departments

Build relationships across SFRCs programs and administrative teams to drive integrated planning and execution

Represent SFRC externally with funders, partners, and public stakeholders in a professional and values-driven manner

Requirements

Qualifications

10+ years in senior strategy, development, or growth roles, ideally within healthcare, behavioral health, or mission-driven organizations

Demonstrated success securing and managing state, federal, and foundation funding

Experience with value-based contracting or working with MCOs is strongly preferred

Proven ability to lead high-impact marketing, communications, and visibility campaigns

Strong writing, storytelling, and interpersonal communication skills

Comfort working in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments with high expectations

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrixed leadership environment

Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Public Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field preferred
