POSITION PURPOSE:

The receiving agent will receive & reconcile against POs/Invoices/Pick Lists for all incoming orders to the property including food, beverage, and all other miscellaneous products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

  • Verify, count and sign packing slips, match with invoices and codes for accounting.
  • Communicate shorts and overages on invoices.
  • Responsible for organization and sanitation of receiving areas and storage rooms.
  • Maintain acceptable inventory levels and ensure profitability by minimizing dead stock items.
  • Label, date, store & rotate all food and beverage to avoid spoilage and control waste while maintaining health, sanitation and safety standards and regulations.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Clerk to join our Team. This position will complete the end-to-end processing of company payroll, assist in the maintenance of our Human Resources/Payroll Information system, aid in coordinating and implementing Human Resources/Payroll Information system changes, and interface directly with employee personnel and management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of company payroll.
  • Responsible for accuracy of time and attendance.
  • Interact collaboratively with IT department for support and maintenance of the time and attendance system, as needed.
  • Maintain payroll schedules.
  • Confirm discrepancies in time and attendance, authorized overtime, shift differentials or reason for absences, either paid or unpaid.
  • Review and process new hires, changes and terminations.
  • Ensure mandated filings are accurate and completed on time.
  • Process miscellaneous forms and requests including but not limited to tax forms, mortgage verifications, reimbursements, third party disability, etc.
  • Act as a liaison with the payroll software representative for payroll issues.
  • Support other data entry activities as required.
  • Exhibit superior customer service and ensure requests are met in a timely fashion.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AS degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Knowledge of Paycom, a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, with strong numerical ability and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Full time 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday

JOB TITLE: Accounting Clerk

REPORTS TO: General Manager and Corporate Director of Finance

Purpose for the Position: To coordinate, verify, and balance revenues and receipts on a daily basis. Administer all property level accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Completes all other reports as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately enters all daily revenues, receipts and ledger balances into daily report.
  2. Reconciles daily cash deposits and credit card transmissions.
  3. Bills A/R accounts daily, and follows up on any accounts within 3 days to ensure customer has received the invoice and does not have any questions. Follow up 30 days after the initial billing if payment has not been received.
  4. Enters invoices into accounts payable system weekly after verifying a purchase order was received from ordering department head and obtaining General Manager’s approval.
  5. Reconciles taxes daily and verifies all tax-exempt backup is on file.
  6. Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Corporate Director of Finance.

Physical Demands: Lifting 10 lbs. maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and small tools. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. Reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.

Environmental Conditions: Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. A job is considered “inside” if the worker spends approximately 75% or more of the time inside.

Math Skills: Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to: Apply mathematical operations to frequency distributions, reliability and validity tests, normal curve of variance, correlation techniques, etc.

Language Skills: Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to: Read newspapers, periodicals, journals, and manuals. Write business letters, summaries and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style. Participate in discussions and debates. Speak extemporaneously on a variety of subjects.

Relationships to Data, People and Things:

Data: Coordinating: Determining time, place, and sequence of operations or action to be taken on the basis of analysis of data; executing determination and/or reporting on events.

People: Negotiating: Exchanging ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions or solutions.

Things: Using body members, hand tools, and/or special devices to work, move, or carry objects or materials. Involves little or no latitude for judgment with regard to attainment of standards or in selecting appropriate tools, objects or materials.
