About This Position

The Regulatory and Legal Compliance Counsel will assist the Associate GC & Privacy Officer with drafting, implementing, and overseeing the organizations global privacy, regulatory, and legal compliance programs. This individual ensures adherence to applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA, CPRA, etc.), industry standards, and internal policies to mitigate risk and protect organizational integrity.

What You'll Do

  • Manage enterprise-wide privacy and compliance strategies, frameworks, and policies.
  • Ensure timely updates to policies and training programs in accordance with changes in laws.
  • Monitor federal and state regulatory changes, industry trends and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate compliance and privacy-related risks.
  • Organize and develop data governance and privacy impact assessments (DPIAs).
  • Advise senior leadership and business units on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, and audits.
  • Manage third-party compliance and privacy risk, including vendor assessments and contracts.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on compliance, privacy, and ethical practices.
  • Serve as a point of contact for data subjects, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with internal investigations related to privacy breaches or regulatory violations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, IT, HR, Marketing, Accounting, Security, and Operations.

Experience

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc., a global provider of financial services, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to perform compliance monitoring and other compliance related functions for various regulated entities which include ICE Bonds Securities Corporation ("ICE Bonds"), an SEC-registered broker dealer and a member of FINRA and the MSRB which operates multiple fixed income ATSs and offers related broker dealer services to its institutional customer base, and Creditex Brokerage LLP, an FCA regulated investment firm which operates a Multilateral Trading Facility for fixed income securities and credit default swaps.

The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for the review of electronic communications to ensure compliance with regulations from multiple regulators. In addition, the Compliance Analyst will be responsible for various compliance functions related to reporting, onboarding and registration for certain regulated entities.

The Compliance Analyst must be analytical, demonstrate professional accountability, and communicate clearly and concisely. In order to succeed in this role, the candidate will need to possess the ability to learn quickly and be willing to acquire additional responsibilities.

This position will report to the Chief Compliance Officer of ICE Bonds and Creditex Brokerage LLP and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Required to take and pass the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam within 3 months of employment and required to take and pass either the FINRA Series 7 or Series 99 within 6 months of employment;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with acute attention to detail;

This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring adherence to court-mandated reform efforts within the sheriff's office. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between legal teams, the sheriff's office, and court-appointed monitors to ensure compliance with a consent decree and related legal obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the progress of all requirements outlined in the consent decree and ensure timely tracking of compliance activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for logistical arrangements during visits from court-appointed monitors.
- Coordinate the collection and organization of documentation to demonstrate decree compliance.
- Monitor and track various moving parts of the compliance process, ensuring that all stakeholders fulfill their responsibilities.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between legal counsel, sheriff's office staff, and external monitors.
- Attend meetings, maintain detailed records in software or spreadsheets, and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with jail staff, including medical personnel, wardens, and other departments, to address decree-related issues.
- Adapt to evolving needs and timelines, ensuring flexibility in managing compliance tasks.
- Support efforts to build trust and improve relationships between the sheriff's office and county leadership.

**_Role Overview:_**
As a Compliance Specialist, you will:
Support the management of the corporate assurance and audit calendar by helping coordinate internal and external audit activities.
Assist in the development, maintenance, and communication of Information Security Management System (ISMS) documentation and policies.
Gather and organize evidence required for various audits and certifications (such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and others).
Work with internal teams to ensure audit readiness and assist with audit follow-ups.
Contribute to periodic reporting on compliance status to security and business leadership and governance forums.
**Your Responsibilities**
+ **Assist in executing and monitoring Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs).**
+ **Support user access reviews across infrastructure, applications, and systems, ensuring timely and accurate completion.**
+ **Help coordinate removal of access for terminated employees or users with changed roles, working closely with HR and IT.**
+ **Participate in reviewing IT change management, incident tickets, and other control activities to ensure compliance with defined procedures.**
+ **Support Process Owners, Control Owners, and Operators by providing guidance and documentation related to ITGCs.**
+ **Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and support maturing internal compliance processes.**
+ **Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of compliance requirements and timelines.**
**Qualifications & Skills:**
+ **Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma with 4+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Compliance, IT Risk Management, or a related field.**
+ **Experience supporting audits such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or FedRAMP is preferred.**
+ **Familiarity with cloud environments and common DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) is a plus.**
+ **Detail-oriented with strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.**
+ **Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving global environment.**
**Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical compliance issues to a wide range of audiences.**
