We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional service to clients while assisting with local tax-related inquiries. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to manage various tax types efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Deliver accurate and courteous assistance regarding local tax-related queries.
- Learn and apply knowledge of different tax types through provided training.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Work Environment
This role is within a roofing company that provides metal roofing for both residential and commercial purposes. The business is large and growing, with a newer and comfortable facility. The position is located in the office section of the facility, separate from the production floor. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with the requirement to clock in by 8:00am. The dress code is business casual, with jeans being acceptable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

**Position Summary:**

Our sales transactions are completed through our Corporate Sales Center via inbound and outbound phone calls amongst our vast existing customer base and new daily inquirers. **Major Responsibilities:**
- Handle incoming sales and customer service calls in our busy Corporate Sales Center
- Explain sales procedures and respond to inquiries
- Input customer information into the Salesforce.com database
- Coordinate work with departments including Titles, Tax, and Asset Management
- Interact with internal Penske departments and field locations
- Assist with sales transactions and related administrative work

**Qualifications:**
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role either in a Call Center environment or in a customer facing / retail environment is required
- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Professional telephone presence required
