Wage Scale : $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Benefits : Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal and external customer through phone, email and/or other software's.
- Accurately process orders, application forms, and requests into database.
- Provide follow ups with customers on scheduled jobs, progress or changes.
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Document transactions status of all customer calls.
- Assist with scheduling including confirming scheduled jobs.
- Resolve customers questions by clarifying, determining cause, and providing a solution in a timely manner.
- Assist with payment collection if needed.
- Various administration duties.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Customer Service experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills and professional telephone skills.
- Data entry experience is a plus, but not required.
- Organizational, time management and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience working in construction, HVAC, fireplace or garage industries is a plus.
- Regular attendance is required.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for interacting with all customers, maintaining a friendly, positive, authentic, empathetic, and professional approach, to deliver a consistent Five-Star Customer Service Experience. The CSR reports to the Store Manager, in partnership with the Operations Supervisor/Manager. Physical Demands :
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time; reach for tools and objects with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk to and hear customers . The employee must be able to see up close and at a distance, as well as use peripheral vision and depth perception, and be able to look at, read, and use a computer, electronic devices, and phones for long periods of time.

Position Summary:
Customer Service Representatives are responsible for receiving requests for quotations, orders, and lead-times from customers. CSR's prepare quotations on standard and non-standard items, write orders, and relay pertinent quote or order information to customers and suppliers. CSR's coordinate with other departments in handling purchase orders and providing service and support to customers and the Outside Sales Team.
Primary Duties:
- Receives telephone, email, fax or walk-in requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from domestic customers, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors.
- Provides support to the Outside Sales Team.
- Uses our business ERP systems to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders, and to make changes on customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information.
- Track and follow up on inquiries, quotations and orders through our ERP systems. Works closely with supplier and warehouse expeditors regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments.
- Interface with our suppliers on technical, pricing and delivery issues in a timely manner.
- Assist accounts receivable with payment and credit hold issues.
- Must be over the age of 18 to apply.
- Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills required.
- Strong computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus.
- Previous background should include knowledge of parts and nomenclature as well as a demonstrated ability to work well with customers and suppliers.
- Work environment for a Customer Service Representatives is mainly office but may vary including: Warehouse containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements.
