Responsibilities include inventory reconciliation, generating requisitions for special orders, and ordering select stock items. Tracks and receives special and stock items along with restocking designated inventory areas; research status of open orders as necessary. Tags and registers high-spend items into point of use (POU) or RFID system(s) as applicable. Manages inventory by adjusting par levels when necessary and manage accuracy of bin locations and cost center expense codes. May work with clinical systems to charge patients, synchronize data, and/or perform inventory management functions. The Inventory Control Par Technician generates and reviews reports and data related to supplies and expense charges to ensure accuracy and completeness. The position contributes to the development and execution of action plans for supply cost savings and management. Effectively and expeditiously communicates changes in inventory or incidences of unavailable inventory to the supply chain and/or clinical teams. Inspects package integrity and rotates stock to reduce expiration of products. Adheres to routine cleaning and inspection schedules for all inventory locations. Completes daily responsibilities; according, to established procedures.

Initiates return of defective and recalled products to vendors, understanding urgent recall issues and responding appropriately and in a timely manner to all patient orders. Returns items that are overstocked to the warehouse or suppliers per procedures.
Performs department product catalog (DPC) maintenance regularly. Maintains accuracy of master product catalog (MPC) numbers and bin locations at the par cart level.
Contributes to the development and execution of action plans for supply cost savings and management.
Keeps supervisor and/or managers informed while communicating appropriately and professionally with clinical and medical personnel. Effectively and expeditiously researches and communicates changes in inventory and/or incidences of unavailable inventory to the clinical team.
Collaborates with lead and supervisor on special projects and special requests as situations dictate.
Responsible and accountable for participation in quality and performance improvement activities with a goal to improve patient or departmental outcomes. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department and performs additional tasks as needed within Support Services.

Overview

Working as Part-time Customer Supply Chain Support, you will engage in a variety of activities to support the customer's supply chain in order to improve the performance of the onsite business. Our client is a fast-paced and growing company in the logistics and warehousing sector, seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Operations Manager. This key role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of logistics, warehousing best practices, inventory management, and transportation management. You will play a vital part in streamlining operations, implementing process improvements, and managing relationships with suppliers and carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring optimal space utilization, accurate inventory counts, and efficient order fulfillment.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and transportation carriers.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers and vendors.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics and warehouse staff.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Utilize supply chain software and technology to optimize operations and reporting.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring you to be on-site at our **Orlando, Florida, US** facility for a portion of the week, with the flexibility for remote work on other days. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) is essential. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation logistics.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Experience with WMS and TMS software.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
