Job Description
The Clinical Education Coordinator reports directly to the Clinical Education Support Manager and is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of the clinical student rotations and site rotations as assigned, which may include matters of significance that may impact the quality of a student's educational experience and outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign and monitor student clinical rotations, which includes identifying and managing issues that may arise during a student's clinical rotation. Determine which issues to manage and which issues will require input and escalation to the Clinical Education Support Manager.
- Assign and monitor clinical clerkship sites, including the negotiation, updating and maintenance of a current affiliation agreement between CCOM and the clerkship site.
- Maintain effective communication between the department and students as it relates to all information necessary for the students to meet the requirements of their rotation.
- Maintain any and all departmental information and communication, including web and distance learning based.
- Maintain effective communication between the department and the clinical clerkship sites including maintaining all paperwork required of students and CCOM by the clinical clerkship site.
- Maintain a support structure for the chair, course directors, didactic lecturers which may include preparing and obtaining current Letters or Agreement with each and being available to assist the Clinical Department Chair as necessary.
- Coordinate and assign department didactic sessions and course curriculum. Facilitate communication with clerkship sites, didactic lecturers, students, and web-based delivery and room assignments on campus or at distant site. Attend didactic sessions to help facilitate didactic delivery.
- Compile and track clinical rotation data, evaluations, logs, web-based learning assignments, test scores, and final rotation grades.
- Participate as appropriate during the design and implementation of department and course curriculum, including the orientation of the MS2 class prior to their matriculation into their clinical rotation years.
- Attend department meetings as necessary or requested.
- Assist in the development of new clinical clerkship rotations through relationship development and maintenance.
- Submit annual updates for the clinical clerkship manual.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED required. A one-year certificate from college or technical school, Associate degree or Bachelor's degree highly desired. Must have a minimum of 5-7 years relevant working experience required preferable in a professional business, medical or academic setting. Ability to independently construct diverse computerized documents and reports which includes spreadsheets, tables and macros. The ability to build positive rapport with many groups of internal and external stakeholders is required to be successful in this position. Experience working in a team and customer service oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Computer Skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Language Skills
Intermediate skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Make It Possible.** The Education & Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the training planning and execution, with your main accountability will be to coordinate and where applicable, lead Education and Training related activities to support operational excellence within Coolock Manufacturing. **How you will contribute** : + Provide administrative support executing activities and build an effective relationships with those you support + Perform duties as needed related to budget, expenses and purchasing processes + Answer calls and emails, responding to queries and requests appropriately + Manage archiving and filing in line with statutory requirements and company policy + Complete and update reports and maintain systems and data + Undertake additional projects and tasks as requested + Coordinate all logistics for training and events **What you will bring** : A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Administration and support roles + Highly developed customer service orientation + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Attention to detail combined with proactive attitude, very good communication and interpersonal skills + Excellent teamwork and able to anticipate needs and respond accordingly **More about this role** **What you need to know about this position:** + Work with line and support teams to establish skill requirements for priority roles + Support the training planning and execution across the site against business priorities + Management and development of our onboarding program for new starters. + Ensure site compliance training is planned, executed, and recorded as per internal and external legal and audit parameters, as defined by role & process requirements + Monitor course and training provider effectiveness; feedback issues and opportunities and recommend/carry out improvements as required + Development and execution of E&T Pillar Works Processes, as required + Database management - maintaining effective training, analytics, user training + Administrative management of E&T activities, ensuring all records are accurate and to the current site standard + Provide monthly reports, Key Performance Information (KPI's) on E&T delivery + Strong communication and influencing skills + Results focussed with a continuous improvement mindset + Excellent Planning and Prioritisation skills + Problem solving and analytical skills **Requirements:** + Industrial Manufacturing experience (at least from 2 to 4 years) + Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Knowledge/experience in Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) + Computer skills **Preferred Experience:** + Train the trainer or coaching experience + High level of coordination experience, ideally within a Learning & Development (L&D) environment + Formal Training Qualification + Worked in an industrial/manufacturing environment **Education / Certifications:** + Bachelor´s degree in Business **Work schedule:** + Monday to Friday + Flexibility is required + Weekends as needed + 1st shift (From 8am - 5pm) **Salary and Benefits:** + The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,900.00 to $90,000.00; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
