  • Prepare course catalog forms and write compelling course descriptions for submission to the curriculum office. We are currently seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer - Salesforce Education Cloud - Remote US Position.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with advanced integration expertise and hands-on experience in Salesforce ecosystem solutions (HEDA, NPSP, Commerce Cloud). This role requires someone who can not only build scalable Salesforce applications but also architect and implement complex data integrations across enterprise systems. You will be a key contributor to ensuring seamless data flow and optimal system architecture for mission-critical business processes.

Day to Day / Job Function

  • Design, develop, and optimize integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and custom solutions.

  • Implement and maintain Apex classes, Async Apex (Batch, Queueable, Scheduled), and Triggers, with a focus on NPSP structure.

  • Build, configure, and manage custom metadata types and custom settings for reusable and scalable solutions.

  • Hands-on development with Salesforce Education Cloud (HEDA) and NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack) to support institutional and nonprofit requirements.

  • Manage and configure Commerce Cloud Business Manager for digital commerce capabilities.

  • Develop and enhance flows and leverage Declarative Lookup Rollup Summaries (DLRS) for automation.

  • Support and guide system architecture discussions, ensuring data flow and system reliability across enterprise applications.

  • Participate in release management and DevOps pipelines using Git/Copado/Gearset.

  • Document technical designs, integration flows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

  • 6+ years experience in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.

  • 6+ years experience with Salesforce Education Cloud (HEDA) and Commerce Cloud Business Manager.6+ years of experience/understanding of data architecture, system integration patterns, and middleware platforms.

  • Working knowledge of DLRS and declarative automation.

  • Familiarity with Formstack forms (basic usage).

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

  • Prior work in higher education or nonprofit organizations leveraging HEDA/NPSP.

  • Exposure to integration platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or equivalent.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
