**Key Job Responsibilities:**
+ Conducts a thorough individualized assessment of the person with or at risk for diabetes. Works with the person with or at risk for diabetes to identify mutally acceptable diabetes self management training (DSMT) outcomes and behavioral objectives.
+ Provides diabetes education according to the individualized plan of care and desired outcomes. Develops the self-management training plan to attain the mutually defined outcomes. The plan integrates current diabetes care practices and established principles of teaching and learning. The plan is coordinated among the healthcare team members, the participant, referring provider, and other relevant support systems.
+ Coordinates/provides individual/group education sessions for diabetic outpatients.
+ Provides leadership in maintaining and developing diabetic education program standards, policies, and procedures.
+ Maintains on-going evaluation of the diabetes education program.
+ Assists in Quality Improvement activities related to patients with diabetes.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state

Our client, a highly respected early learning center, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Specialist to enrich the lives of young children in Omaha, Nebraska, US . This role is centered around fostering a nurturing, stimulating, and safe learning environment that supports the holistic development of children from infancy through preschool age. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in child development theories, age-appropriate curriculum design, and effective pedagogical practices. You will work collaboratively with a team of educators, parents, and administrators to create an engaging educational experience that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early learning standards.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Observe and assess children's development, providing individualized support and feedback.
  • Foster positive social-emotional development through guidance and positive reinforcement.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning space.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to plan and execute curriculum enhancements and special events.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Ensure compliance with all center policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
  • Identify children who may need additional support or resources and liaise with relevant professionals.
  • Organize and lead parent-teacher conferences and workshops.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of child development principles and learning theories.
  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation for early learners.
  • Strong understanding of state and national early learning standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observational skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Background check clearance.
