**Devereux - Massachusetts** serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our classroom structure is designed to match students' needs. Through an interdisciplinary approach, an individual plan is designed for each student. Our school is prepared to meet the academic requirements of local educational agencies, as well other states where our clients are from. Our curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and coordinated through a collaborative working relationship with referring school districts. Flexibility in academic programming and creativity to meet students' needs is the strength of our organization.
**As an Education Supervisor, you will:**
+ Ensure safety and stability of the school environment by providing direct support and coaching to students who are experiencing a crisis.
+ Provide in vivo training and real-time feedback to staff on proper de-escalation strategies and effective use of PBIS with students.
+ Model positive relationships with student by facilitating and participating in activities with students.
+ Provide supervision to Direct Care Staff, facilitate monthly trainings for staff, complete observation documentation, and work collaboratively with other departments.

**Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts and Rhode Island** is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Based in Rutland, MA, ourday and residential school provides special education and treatment for youth ages 6-22 including diagnostic and assessment services, extended evaluation and placement options.

+ Assist students to prepare for post-graduation
+ Prepare and teach lessons in the following topics, including, but not limited to (financial literacy, navigating appointments, advocacy, professional skill training)

- School year after school
While performing duties of this job, the employee may often remain in a stationary position for considerable periods of time. The employee will have ample periods of standing and may be required to traverse throughout the building. The employee must frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and use hand strength to grasp tools. Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., calculator, copy machine, and computer printer). Physical abilities may also include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/field.
