- A Master's Degree or credits towards a Master's Degree in a specialized field of education.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a school setting with families that have diverse cultures and economic backgrounds.
- Experience working with young children in a preschool program, Pre-K to 3.
- Experience in functioning as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Familiarity with principles of family centered based services to include surveys and evaluations.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Survey Monkey, and other software and Apps.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Education Coordinator/Family Support Specialist creates and implements a developmental and culturally appropriate transition program to support the transition of students in the Morrell Neighborhood School into Kindergarten. The Education Coordinator/Family Support Specialist monitors progress of students transitioning into Kindergarten, acts as a liaison between the Greater Johnstown School District and the preschool program, and maintains an open, friendly, and engaging relationship with each child's family. The Education Coordinator/Family Support Specialist will assist families seeking resources.

The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating organized educational programs for the staff of a long-term care facility through identified performance improvement needs, management requests, annual educational needs assessment, new procedures and equipment and low volume procedures and processes.
This individual will also be required to acquire certification as a C.N.A. Class Instructor with responsibilities to include creating a supportive, empowering learning environment for adult learners and delivering quality content area instruction.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with the new hire process, employee health needs, and other duties as assigned.
This position is part of an interdisciplinary team, and as such, participates in the care and service delivery process through effective interaction with other team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN/LPN license by the Georgia State Board of Nursing
Minimum of (1) year of teaching experience or completion of Train the Trainer course
Minimum of (2) years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience required (one year in a long-term care facility)
Excellent oral and written communication skills along with time management skills
Skills to create a learning environment; patience and composure with a passion for this work; handle multiple priorities, make decisions under pressure and work alone
