Job Description
- Lesson Plan Development: Create effective lesson plans to be submitted each Friday for the following week. Plans should accommodate various student levels, include procedures for assessing knowledge, outline the content standards addressed, and specify the curriculum used.
- Supervision of Paraprofessionals: Oversee and direct paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom. While Program Supervisors and Site Administrators will assist in supervision, it is the teacher's primary responsibility in the classroom.
- Implementation of PBIS Program: Manage the classroom's Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program, including tracking behavior points, maintaining the student store, and communicating with parents/guardians. Ensure daily documentation of behavioral data in Point Quest's database.

- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff and outside agencies to effectively educate each student.
- Instructional Planning: Plan instruction and design learning experiences based on data. Conduct summative assessments with each student no less than three times per year.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including twice-monthly teacher meetings and monthly all-staff trainings. Teachers are encouraged to engage in additional professional development outside of Point Quest.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Special Education strongly recommended. Valid CA Special Education Credential (Intern, Preliminary, Clear, Level 1, Level 2 acceptable). Educational Specialist Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe disabilities, depending on classroom assignment.
- Experience: 2-5 years working with students with learning and/or social-emotional needs. Experience in running a special day class and implementing curriculum and behavior interventions.
- Skills: Proficient in written and verbal English, including business writing and professional communication. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Computer-literate with knowledge of standard software applications and internet.
- Certifications & Clearances: DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required. Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR certification preferred.

- Coordinate logistics of educational events under the direction of the Manager.
- Plan and execute educational events in collaboration with the program director/planning committee.
- Develop timeline and ensure deadlines for deliverables are met.
- Develop and implement effective marketing plan and materials.

- Maintains financial oversight of educational programs to ensure that costs are within budget, and opportunities for revenue (exhibitors, commercial support) are maximized.
- Ensure compliance with all Joint Accreditation and AMA requirements, including but not limited to, conflict of interest resolution, letters of agreement with commercial supporters, appropriate disclosure, etc.
- Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Certification as a Meeting Professional (CMP or CMMP) in lieu of degree requirement at manager's discretion

**The role you'll contribute:**
The Clinical Education Coordinator is an RN responsible for planning, teaching and evaluating competency and education programs for clinical staff in support of division directives. This position will be responsible for new employee competency orientation including developing, implementing and evaluating the program. This position will partner with the practices to promote and deliver programs that will support increased skill, knowledge and professional development. Provides expertise in the development of educational offerings. Acts as liaison with local clinical programs and provides input as part of the team for positive student experiences. Works alongside the practice leadership and providers to ensure competency validation of the staff.

+ May develop programs group specific, based on identified educational needs
+ Analyzes assessment data to determine the target audience and the learner needs.

+ Identifies the general purpose and educational objectives for each learning activity as evidenced by clearly defined objectives and purpose for the learning activity
+ Evaluates effectiveness of activity and makes appropriate changes to ensure objectives are achieved
+ Uses the results of evaluation analysis to make or recommend process or structural changes, including policy, procedure, protocols, or documentation.
+ Uses evidence-based data to identify strategies for improving professional development activities and patient outcomes
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**
**Minimum qualifications** :
+ Associates of Science in Nursing
+ FL Registered Nurse (RN)
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
+ Three to five years of clinical experience
+ Teaching experience in formal/informal setting

- Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in online or higher education.
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles and learning theories.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience in creating multimedia learning resources (videos, interactive simulations) is a plus.
