EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or related medical degree (Required) ;In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree; an Associate Degree and a Minimum of 4 years additional relevant experience is acceptable.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
4 - 5 years Experience with ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding including hospital inpatient medical records (Required)
4 - 5 years Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology (Required)
4 - 5 years Experience calculating and analyzing MS-DRG, DRG, APC, and other payer reimbursement methodologies (Required)
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES
Required Certifications/Licensures: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), AHIMA Approved ICD-10 Trainer

Job Description
Teachers needed in Coastal GA Counties. Georgia Certification required. Full-time, in-person, is required for this role. Virtual instruction is not available.
The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
+ Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
