Experience/Qualifications
* Knowledge of patient care standards and practices is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor of Nursing, an active Wisconsin nursing license, or Registered Dietitian with Wisconsin Certification.
* Two to four years' acute care experience required.
* Two to four years' experience in diabetes education is preferred.
* State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or Registered Dietitian with Wisconsin Certification required.
* Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
* Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator is beneficial with the expectation that certification will be aggressively pursued if not already obtained.

Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge of patient care standards and practices is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor of Nursing, an active Wisconsin nursing license, or Registered Dietitian with Wisconsin Certification.
- Two to four years' acute care experience required.
- Two to four years' experience in diabetes education is preferred.
- State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or Registered Dietitian with Wisconsin Certification required.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
- Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator is beneficial with the expectation that certification will be aggressively pursued if not already obtained.
