PCG's Education Strategies team works directly with senior education leaders in the K-12 sector to solve challenging problems, develop long-term strategy, guide change management and support implementation. Project work includes providing strategic direction and technical assistance in support of effective educational systems. Consultants will play multiple roles, ranging from thought partner, to project manager, to project support, to logistical support.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Participates in organizational analysis consulting projects for school districts and state education agencies.·
+ Independently creates work plans and stakeholder engagement plans for projects.·
+ Manages project workstreams, and creation of client deliverables.·
+ Identifies and elicits requirements from key stakeholders in each engagement.·
+ Facilitates client discussions.·
+ Participates in on-site client data collection activities, such as focus groups and interviews.·
+ Conducts research to support client recommendations.

+ Analyzes and interprets federal and state law and regulation.

**Summary:**
+ The Phlebotomy Education and Quality Coordinator would be responsible for creating and maintaining an effective phlebotomy training program that encompasses all aspects of phlebotomy operations including initial and ongoing training and education. In addition, the coordinator would be responsible for conducting technical competencies for all new and current phlebotomists (inpatient and outpatient) and continuing education training for existing employees, such as doctors, nurses, and medical assistants.

Summary:

  • This position description encompasses the accountabilities and required skills to support the daily operations of the Department Education Programs. Under direction from the Education Director and the Physician Program Directors, the Education Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the Department Education Programs. The individual is responsible for smooth flow of planning, preparation and execution of activities relating to resident and fellow recruitment, education, training and wellness. The Education Coordinator will serve as a primary resource for all house staff in the Department as well as the teaching faculty as it relates to their educational responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Department Director of Medical Education and provides support for the efficient and effective administration for all Department Education Programs.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates daily education office administrative operations for the GME Programs under the direction of the Department Education Director. This position requires collaboration with the education team, GME office, subspecialty program directors and other department personnel.
  • Facilitates equipment ordering, trainee reimbursement process, professionally related education expenditures and division related invoices.
  • Coordinates functions relating to house staff on-boarding, licensing, orientation and trainings, rotations and compliance.
  • Coordinates Graduation and year end and alumni reporting for Residents and Fellows.
  • Facilitate processes relating to resident recruitment in support of the Recruitment Selection Chair.
  • Set up Conferences, evaluations and personalized teaching - Residency Programs.
  • Oversee the collection of accurate files on residents, including verifications, learning portfolios and items for CCC meetings, PEC meetings and SAR forms.
  • Maintains proficiency in Medical Education databases, ensures data is complete, accurate and up to date
  • Generates various reports as requested.
  • Coordinates rotators and observers process for incoming and outgoing to Penn Medicine.
  • Various administrative tasks related to GME programs, as directed by the department education director.

  • This position description encompasses the accountabilities and required skills to support the daily operations of the Department Education Programs. Under direction from the Education Director and the Physician Program Directors, the Education Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the Department Education Programs. The individual is responsible for smooth flow of planning, preparation and execution of activities relating to resident and fellow recruitment, education, training and wellness. The Education Coordinator will serve as a primary resource for all house staff in the Department as well as the teaching faculty as it relates to their educational responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Department Director of Medical Education and provides support for the efficient and effective administration for all Department Education Programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates daily education office administrative operations for the GME Programs under the direction of the Department Education Director. This position requires collaboration with the education team, GME office, subspecialty program directors and other department personnel.

  • Facilitates equipment ordering, trainee reimbursement process, professionally related education expenditures and division related invoices.

  • Coordinates functions relating to house staff on-boarding, licensing, orientation and trainings, rotations and compliance.

  • Coordinates Graduation and year end and alumni reporting for Residents and Fellows.

  • Facilitate processes relating to resident recruitment in support of the Recruitment Selection Chair.

  • Set up Conferences, evaluations and personalized teaching - Residency Programs.

  • Oversee the collection of accurate files on residents, including verifications, learning portfolios and items for CCC meetings, PEC meetings and SAR forms.

  • Maintains proficiency in Medical Education databases, ensures data is complete, accurate and up to date

  • Generates various reports as requested.

  • Coordinates rotators and observers process for incoming and outgoing to Penn Medicine.

  • Various administrative tasks related to GME programs, as directed by the department education director.

Credentials:

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)

  • Education Specialization:Business Administration or HealthcareEquivalent Experience: Or 3+ years Administrative (assistant/coordinator), and/or Education or Academics experience.
