- BLS Certification required.
- Proven clinical competency in a nursing or allied health specialty.
- Prior experience in educational program development and teaching is preferred.
- Strong ability to build collegial relationships internally and externally.
- Exceptional skills in reading, analyzing documents, and engaging in dialogue.
- Effective communication skills—both oral and written—and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership and team-building skills are essential.

The Education Specialist plays a vital role in fulfilling the goals of our organization by leveraging their expertise as an educator, performance consultant, and collaborative leader. This position is crucial in enhancing our clinical workforce through effective educational strategies and development programs.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-4:30pm with occasional off-shift and weekend rotations to address the educational needs of Albany Medical Center.
