Do you have the skills to organize, train, and guide volunteers within a faith community?We are seeking a Protestant Religious Education (RE) Coordinator to develop, organize, and maintain the Protestant RE Program at Seymour Johnson AFB Chapel. You will work closely with the Protestant Chaplain/Priest to build and manage programs that serve our Protestant community.If you are ready to guide, organize, and build faith programs that support our Protestant community, we invite you to apply today.Key Responsibilities:Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for Protestant RE programs.Develop and maintain the Protestant RE program in alignment with chapel goals.Assist in building the annual calendar of events and budgets for RE programs.Ensure facility requests for RE programs are completed and submitted on time.Prepare and submit purchase requests for RE program needs promptly.Create and propose effective advertisements for programs and events.Attend meetings to report on program activities, events, and budget updates.Collaborate with the Chaplain and volunteers to build engaging RE programs.The PersonHas at least 3 years of Protestant RE leadership experience, preferably within a parish or military chapel.Understands Protestant doctrines and worship practices.Can clearly communicate in English, both in writing and speaking.Works well with others in a multi-faith environment.Can efficiently organize and manage various program elements.Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and performing administrative tasks.Understands the basics of planning and executing a program budget.#ecruit
