You will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to craft innovative curricula that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative curriculum frameworks and lesson plans for K-12 STEM education.
  • Create engaging and effective instructional materials, including student texts, workbooks, assessments, multimedia content, and teacher guides.
  • Ensure curriculum alignment with national and state educational standards (e.g., NGSS, Common Core).
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex scientific and mathematical concepts into accessible and understandable learning experiences.
  • Conduct needs assessments and research to identify gaps and opportunities for curriculum improvement.
  • Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to measure student learning and program effectiveness.
  • Incorporate best practices in instructional design, learning theory, and educational technology into curriculum development.
  • Pilot and evaluate new curriculum materials, incorporating feedback for revisions and improvements.
  • Manage curriculum development projects from conception through completion, adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Provide training and support to educators on the implementation of new curricula.
  • Stay current with advancements in STEM education, educational technology, and pedagogical approaches.
  • Review and revise existing curriculum materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and engagement.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, STEM Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or teaching, with a significant focus on STEM subjects.
  • Proven expertise in developing engaging and effective learning materials for K-12 students.
  • Strong understanding of national and state educational standards (e.g., NGSS, Common Core).
  • Proficiency with various educational technologies and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise instructional content.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams of SMEs, educators, and designers.
  • Experience with assessment design and data analysis to inform curriculum improvement.
  • Knowledge of research-based pedagogical approaches and learning theories.
