Maximus is hiring an Employment & Education Specialist to be responsible for coordinating all services and to help ensure that the customer is making meaningful progress toward enhancing education skills, preparing for, finding, and retaining employment. This position will work on-site in Memphis, TN.

**This position may require up to 35% travel - mileage is reimbursed at 100% of the Federal Rate**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Offer comprehensive case management services to a caseload of program participants facing significant obstacles to employment.

- Utilize specialized expertise to address unique challenges faced by participants on long-term Cash Assistance, those with a history of sanctions or program non-compliance, or individuals with ex-offender status.

- Consider and evaluate barriers to employment when determining appropriate program placements for participants.

- Conduct job readiness screenings and assessments to gauge participant readiness for employment.

Evaluate participants' needs for Back to Work services and assist in formulating individualized Employment Plans.

- Direct applicants and participants to suitable program components, ensuring their engagement in beneficial services.

- Oversee and coordinate all project services provided to each participant, ensuring comprehensive support.

- Connect program participants with community resources such as long-term and emergency childcare services, providing follow-up to ensure effective service delivery.

- Offer employment counseling and job leads, facilitating job placement and retention for participants.

- Provide ongoing support to maintain stability in employment, coordinating retention activities as needed.

- Initiate non-compliance procedures and manage the process for participants who fail to meet program requirements.

- Regularly engage in workgroups and committees focused on assessing customer needs, enhancing services, and implementing innovative strategies.

- Perform additional duties as directed by management.

- Travel to and provide regular training for existing providers in one-on-one or larger settings.

- Travel to and participate in events to recruit new providers to the program.

- Responsible for escalated providers and resolving issues.

- Responsible for high-visibility providers where a quick resolution is needed.

- May be assigned specific providers for ongoing assistance.

- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the project.

- Extensive travel is required.

- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management

Minimum Requirements

- High school diploma or GED required and 4+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

-Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel

-Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills and abilities

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including a track record of interacting with all levels of staff, management and/or government

-Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously

-Ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently

**Job Description**
The Custodial Manager Senior reports to the General Manager or District Manager. Plans, coordinates and directs all custodial activities, including Aramark and client financial accountability, and compliance with the standards established by Aramark, regulatory agencies and clients. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to facilities management.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Leads all aspects of custodial operations while maintaining the established quality standards, safe operation and complete regulatory compliance by training, supervising, evaluating, and motivating assigned personnel in their work
+ Develop and be accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt
+ Analyze all financial reports for facility operations, as well as reviewing all financial measurements with managers and directors to ensure achievement of financial goals
+ Actively foster a positive relationship between Aramark and the client and responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is provided
+ Ensure administration of HR Policies and interprets and ensure compliance with company policies such as safety, sanitation and purchasing.
+ Responsible for staffing, development of personnel, training and education
+ Participate in development of operational component forecasts and can explain variances
+ Proficient in and ensures consistent and regular use of the Computerized Management Maintenance System (CMMS) to properly manage the operation

**Qualifications**
+ At least 3-5 years of progressive management in custodial services
+ Management experience in a diverse environment
+ Custodial experience in a related industry is strongly preferred
+ Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience preferred
+ Ability to coordinate and lead capital projects, maintenance plans, and funding requests from conception to completion is required
+ Requires strong financial analysis, interpretation, budgeting and computer skills
+ Profit and Loss accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is highly desirable
+ Must demonstrate strong leadership, customer service, communication and team building skills
+ Must be very organized and be able to work well under pressure, while handling multiple priorities simultaneously
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Salary: $1575 / Week
The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12.
