SMA part of Optum Care is seeking a dynamic board-certified family medicine physician with experience in graduate medical education to join the education department as "Chief of Education" including an active role within the VHS FM Residency as full-time core faculty in the family medicine ambulatory continuity clinic. Candidate must have a passion for providing clinical and educational guidance through resident oversight and didactic offerings as well as maintain active scholarship in concordance with ACGME requirements. Candidate must be proficient in basic outpatient procedures.
Physician will spend 60% of his or her time devoted to the residency and 40% of time maintaining a patient population of his or her own within the family medicine continuity clinic on the fourth floor of our Oakey and Decatur office building. Patient care is outpatient based though hospital credentialing is required and provided for teaching faculty. Faculty member will contribute to the growth and expansion of a primary care curriculum within a culture focused on innovation, compassionate relationships, integrity and excellence in performance maintaining the quadruple aim with the support of a diverse energetic and well-trained team of medical assistants and an LPN supervisor and state-of-the-art technological support. As chief of the department, the candidate will maintain oversight of the APC internship program, all educational roles throughout the organization and be responsible for managing the department budget and strategic initiatives through regular report outs.
The VHS FM residency is currently in its 5th year and is an innovative collaboration between VHS, Touro University, and Optum Care NV. This position offers a privileged opportunity of leadership as part of the growth of a novel and unique training program in an underserved area. Candidate should be flexible and adaptable to a new program and the innovation and challenges entailed.
**Primary Responsibilities:**

**Education: Minimum qualification of an MSN,** or a BSN with at least two (2) years' experience in **clinical education,** with nursing background and knowledge that includes an understanding of the educational objectives and experiences of student nurses, an understanding of the clinical practice of nursing, knowledge of the diverse organizational environments in which nurses practice, and knowledge of the types of clinical sites needed to meet course content and objectives.
**Unencumbered Licensure:** Applicable state as a Registered Nurse.
**Special Qualifications:** At least two (2) years of recent clinical experience, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interpret learning experience needs of students and match them to the capabilities of clinical placement agencies, excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to be creative and innovative, and proficient computer skills in order to collect and analyze data.
Must agree to obtain CNEcl certification within one (1) year of acceptance of position.

Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent projects within a large educational environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of technology initiatives—from classroom tech implementations to enterprise-wide software deployments. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication, coordination, and strategic planning skills. This will be an on-site opportunity, located in Las Vegas, NV.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, and budgets.
- Forecast and manage resources efficiently to meet project requirements.
- Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide ongoing updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Coordinate vendor activities, manage contracts, and oversee deliverables.
- Apply industry-standard project management methodologies and tools.
- Ensure quality control, documentation, and compliance with defined standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Drive process improvements and contribute to strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of IT and business/industry experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing mid-to-large teams and senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record managing large-scale software system implementations.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as Oracle PeopleSoft or SAP.
- Proficiency with project management tools and collaboration platforms.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, business application lifecycle, and change management practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Experience working within public K-12 school systems, higher education, or educational agencies.
- Familiarity with educational data systems and large-scale implementation in a public school environment.
