Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities. Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of the leaders they support. Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company.
This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Specialty Network Solutions and will also provide executive administrative support to multiple Vice President level leaders (involves manages scheduling and making travel arrangements). The Executive Assistant will need to maintain a strong understanding of all relevant Cardinal Health operations and frequently represent the company/senior leaders internally and externally through written and verbal communications. This job also frequently manages confidential information and personal matters which requires the use of discretion and judgement in all interactions. The Executive Assistant will need to be able to anticipate the needs of leaders and be able to manage multiple tasks at a time.
**Location -** Nationwide remote (with option to come into the office as needed if based in Dallas, TX or Central Ohio)
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain executive calendars, including but not limited to: management of daily executive schedules, quickly responding to schedule changes, coordinating multiple executive schedules to align availability, standing up recurring meeting cadence, scheduling department/team meetings and coordinating associated logistics (conference room reservations, room set-up, luncheons, etc.)
+ Maintain confidentiality of executive communication, projects and work
+ Coordinate global travel including the booking of all flights, hotels, car service, etc. for conferences, and other external and internal events and meetings
+ Communicate with members of senior leadership team and other key business partners and vendors
+ Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
+ Exercises sound judgment and independent decision-making to manage the executives schedule communications and other administrative tasks
+ Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects with minimal supervisors
+ A self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities to improve efficiently and streamline process, anticipating the executive's needs and preferences.
+ Ability to utilize Excel and PowerPoint to support the executive in organizing thoughts, data, tracking progress and synthesizing information for effective decision making.
+ Prepare and submit expense reports for executive staff members as requested
+ Review expense reports as executive delegate which requires familiarity with all T&E policies
+ Coordinate departmental staff meetings
**Qualifications**
+ Ideally targeting 6+ years of executive administrative assistant work experience, preferred
+ Self-directed; ability and willingness to problem-solve and apply creative solutions (for example with calendaring conflicts)
+ Proficient verbal and written communication skills
+ Basic experience using Excel and PowerPoint (preferred)
+ Work proactively, learn and adapt quickly, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment
+ Ability to interface with employees at all organizational levels, especially c-suite
+ Ability to escalate issues when necessary
+ Strong time management and prioritization skills; ability to effectively set expectations with internal customers regarding timing of activities
+ Detail-oriented and able to work with a high level of confidentiality
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook
+ Experience in data visualization tools like PowerBI (a plus not required)

**Anticipated** **hourly range:** $26.90 per hour - 38.10 per hour

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $75,000 - $100,000.
