Air Export Manager
The Air Export Manager oversees all aspects of the export process for air cargo, ensuring efficient and timely delivery while maintaining compliance with regulations. Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the air export process, including the preparation of shipping documents, customs clearance, and bookings with air carriers.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines, customs brokers, and other service providers to ensure efficient cargo delivery.
- Manage relationships with customers, vendors, and third-party service providers to deliver exceptional service and ensure satisfaction.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and trade laws.
- Stay informed about changes in airfreight regulations and export controls.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Support Transportation Procurement Manager for annual Ocean contract renewals for U.S. and Canada, as well as changes to external PO Management 3 rd party site

**Job Summary:**
The Lynnwood, WA Site ECM maintains the site's export compliance program and is responsible for all aspects of the site's export compliance activities, including adherence to Group and local policies and procedures, export licensing, auditing, training, and issue investigation, escalation and resolution. Site ECM's work closely with site leadership and the Group ECM to maintain and improve the site's compliance posture.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Provide export compliance consultation, guidance and training in partnership with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, operations, sales, contracts, HR, facilities security and others.
+ Work closely with site leadership in a trust position to maintain and improve the site's overall compliance posture.
+ Support group and corporate export compliance initiatives, both at the local site level and in close coordination with peers at other A&E sites. Shares experiences and collaborates across sites to improve the compliance posture of the A&E system as a whole.

**Minimum Qualifications** **:**

- Prepares export license applications, Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), Manufacturing License Agreements (MLA) and other requests for approval to the U.S. Department of State and or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

- Proactively engage with Business Units to understand export impacts to business needs, assessing sales opportunities via pre-quotation Risk Assessment Form (RAF) Review to ensure compliance with export regulations. Assist VP Compliance in review of export related business projects and provide timely sales feedback.
- Develop & clearly communicate export regulatory guidance, policy & operational controls to Business Units and Site Operational Teams as required regarding visitor management, marking of technology and secure technical data transmission methods, reporting and other administrative requirements to ensure compliance with export regulations.
- Develop and conduct export compliance training modules, and provide updates as related to changes from various associated regulatory agencies, including Defense Directorate of Trade Controls (DDTC), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).
- Conduct internal export compliance audits and reviews, reporting on any potential areas of concern, recommend corrective actions, advise on any Voluntary Self-Disclosures (VSD).
- Assist in review of export compliance requirements with Intertek corporate legal. Recommend export language related to Customer or Supplier Long Term Agreements (LTA) or other contracts.
- Develop and monitor platform and policies to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) via company secure platform (stand-alone application) to secure Technology & Technical Data.
- Assist with import/export of hardware per US Export Regulations under the Foreign Trade Regulations and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Commercial (INCO) Terms.
- Develop database to enable traceability and auditability of export compliance program and support the classifications as assigned under various regulatory requirements.
- Respond to export classification inquiries from customers, vendors, government agencies, customs brokers, and others to support all US Intertek Business Units.
- Support the monitoring, maintenance, and retention of records and documentation for export shipments in accordance with local regulations and Intertek policies.

As an Export Control Manager, you provide authoritative guidance on national and international regulations like the ITAR and EAR, ensuring Bosch's compliance with them. As part of our global Export Control team, you further develop global standards and guidelines in U.S. (re-) export controls law in strong collaboration with your international colleagues.
Job Responsibilities
- In your position, you will manage global risk management, derive globally applicable governance requirements, and develop common minimum standards in the Export Controls fields of Jurisdictional Review, Guardrails, Export Tagging, Tech. Controls, Military Business, Reg. Tracking.
- You will also be responsible for monitoring legal developments (including Executive Orders, EAR, OFAC and ITAR) and changes to U.S. (re) export control laws and regulations and assessing their impact on the business activities of Bosch Group and its subsidiaries globally. Based on this, you will support the definition of appropriate measures and set related process requirements.
- You will support the conceptual design and further development of the re-export control law process landscape for the Bosch Group with focus on U.S. laws and regulations. This includes the further development of existing reporting systems and the use of results for the implementation of further requirements.
- You will be responsible for conducting export audits/health checks for re-export compliance and for monitoring data analysis with regards to risk indicators in the area of export controls.
