**Job Summary**
Dominion Energy is looking to hire Financial Analysts or Senior Financial Analysts to join our Metrics & Data Strategy team in Richmond, VA. This position will be filled at a level commensurate with the successful candidates' education, experience, knowledge skills, and abilities.
The incumbents in these roles will collaborate across teams to provide data, reporting, and analytical support to Dominion Energy Virginia's (DEV) Finance organization.
**Duties may include the following:**
+ **Financial Analysis:** Development of consolidated data, financial calculation and metrics, and reporting used in the analytics of DEV Finance
+ **Project Management:** Project focused work in collaboration with various Finance teams to determine targeted data needs, assist in reporting design, and provide technical assistance

At CoStar Group, our finance group centralizes transaction processes, providing accurate reporting, financial resolutions, and proper forecasting analysis. We are searching for an exceptional Financial Analyst who will join our Sales Finance team in Richmond, Virginia. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting the accurate and timely calculation and payment of sales commissions for CoStar's over 1,300 salespeople as well as other Financial Planning and Analysis responsibilities. In addition to the monthly calculation of the Commission payments, the Analyst will be responsible for increasing the communication, efficiency, and transparency of our commission plans to our sales force.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Analysis of sales commission on month to month/year to year and other ad hoc reporting
The Analyst will also be responsible for working with our Financial Planning and Analysis team and Sales Leadership on monthly reporting and forecasting of our company wide commission expense.
The Analyst will help in the design and creation of our yearly commission plans as well as any new commission plans that arise throughout the year.
Partner with sales leadership and other internal groups (finance and HR) to assist in incentive plan and tracking analyses; perform quality control to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.

+ Provide reasoning for variances and make recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
+ Advise management of expected outcomes, and recommend ways to improve the outcomes.
+ Independently pursue fundamental problem solving and documents the recommendations to management.

+ Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases.

+ Serve as a project lead for special projects within the department.
+ Lead and document financial analysis projects including the preparation of ad hoc reports; to include but not limited to; gathering of data, analysis, documentation of findings, and calculation of results and generation of reports for distribution.
+ Coordinate activities to ensure the project is advancing properly and to ensure the project is completed within the timeframes established. Included in this process will be communication with Management at Highmark, subsidiaries, affiliates, other third parties, etc. as to project status and completion deadlines.
