**The Opportunity**
In this opportunity, you will prepare and present front-end loading, opinion, and design build estimates for a diverse client base in the food & beverage industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
Responsible in preparing and presenting complete estimates during the project phase development from concept through 100% design complete inclusive of both design build and owners engineer (opinion) estimates. Prepare and present variance reports as the project progresses through the design phases. Perform productivity analysis of estimates. Prepare contingency, escalation, and reconciliations for estimates. Attend all required project meetings. Prepare an estimate plan with the project team and identify the division responsibility to meet all required deliverables. Coordinate with project key department stakeholders identified in the estimate plan to meet the project timlines and milestones. Attend owener meetings with the project team to present and discuss project estimate cost.
Performs comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data between projects. Prepares management presentations and develop the estimate basis. Updates and maintain historical cost data. Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives where appropriate. Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change managment effects associated with implementation of improvements.

Degree in construction management or engineering preferred, or minimum years of industry experience.
Construction, project management, or estimating experience for food & beverage processing facilities.
Field and/or project experience is a plus.

**Qualifications:**
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience
**Education:** Candidate must be enrolled/pursuing a Master's degree OR PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field with 3+ months of educational or industry experience.
Preferred Qualification: A GPA of 3.0 or higher.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**
The Food Safety Sanitor performs sanitation labor by performing the eight steps of sanitation while understanding and complying with all food safety and safety policies and procedures. Job duties include:
- Work cooperatively with leads and management to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
- Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers, etc.
- Wear employer-specified personal protective equipment ("PPE") such as gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, safety glasses, etc.
- Exposure to chemicals (with PPE required for the task).
- All night standing, lifting, and crouching for periods at a time.
- Perform all tasks safely.
- Use Lock-out tag-out ("LOTO").
- Other duties as assigned.
**YOUR MUST HAVES:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ Ability to take direction and instruction from managers and be accountable for own actions.
+ Safety awareness and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations.
