The Job
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Pre-Licensed Clinical Therapists to support the hospital's Behavioral Health Unit. Incumbents in this classification perform a full range of assignments related to the field of mental health services that include, but are not limited to biopsychosocial assessments, multidisciplinary treatment team participation, and discharge planning. Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Pre-Employment Process: Candidates selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical, and verification of employment history and education.
Shift Availability: Candidates selected for these positions must be available to work ten (10) hour work days in a four (4) day work week. Shift start times range from 7:00am to 8:30am.
Certification: Candidates chosen for this position must obtain a valid Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification before their start date, and maintain this certification throughout their employment.

Minimum Requirements
Pre- Licensed Clinical Therapist
Candidates must meet both of the following Registration and Degree requirements:
REGISTRATION
Possession of an intern registration number. MUST be the first registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
DEGREE
Pre-Licensed Master's of Social Work: Must have received or be within three (3) months of receiving a Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited or in candidacy status with the Council on Social Work Education.
-OR-
Pre-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist: Must have received or be within (3) three months of receiving a Master's degree in Marriage Family Therapy or a related Master's degree that meets the MFT licensure requirements of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
-OR-
Pre-Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor: Must have received or be within three (3) months of receiving a master's degree that is at least 48 semester (60 quarter) units in a counseling or psychotherapy field of study or a doctoral degree that meets the PCC licensure requirements of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience working in behavioral health within a hospital setting or within an acute care facility.

About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Patient Care Manager based in California, to work remotely while providing in-person housing support for patients as needed. This role focuses on assisting patients with housing stability, social services navigation, and ongoing care management. The goal is to enhance patient well-being, improve access to essential resources, and address housing-related healthcare disparities. We specialize in medically complex patients and are looking for compassionate professionals who understand housing as a critical social determinant of health.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
• Paid Time Off: 3 weeks (2 weeks + 6-7 federal holidays)

Responsibilities
• Assist patients in securing and maintaining stable housing, including support with housing applications, financial assistance programs, and landlord negotiations.
• Connect patients with local, state, and federal housing resources, such as HUD programs, Section 8, and emergency rental assistance.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, case managers, and social workers to integrate housing support into care plans.
• Educate patients on financial and economic resources to improve overall health and stability.
• Provide regular updates to the care team regarding patient needs, barriers, and progress.
Qualifications
