**POSITION TITLE:** **Electrophysiology Radiology Technologist**
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Under the general supervision of the EP Cardiologist, the Electrophysiology Radiology Technologist provides technical support and assistance to the physician during Electrophysiology procedures. The EP RT performs surgical scrub duties, hemodynamic monitoring, stimming, and circulating with all Electrophysiology procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgement in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols.
**EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:**
Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Radiology Technician (RTT) required.
Additional certification in Interventional or Cardiac Radiology (CIIP) preferred.
New York State Department of Health License with intravascular contrast injection 89.4 (can add injection license upon hire).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ACLS provided upon hiring.
Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Pre-procedure Preparation:**
+ Prepare the Electrophysiology suite and equipment for procedures.
+ Verify patient identification, medical history, and procedure details.
+ Assist in positioning patients comfortably and securely on the procedure table.
+ Provide patient education regarding the procedure and address any concerns.
+ Ability to maintain radiation safety and infection control protocols.
**Equipment Operation:**
+ Operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and other imaging equipment to visualize internal structures during procedures.
+ Adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
+ Ensure the functionality and cleanliness of equipment before and after each procedure.
+ Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as necessary.
**Assistance During Procedures:**
+ Assist radiologists and physicians in performing interventional procedures by scrubbing procedures and performing post imaging manipulation of images.
+ Hand off sterile equipment and supplies to the procedural team as needed.
+ Assist with monitoring patient vital signs and comfort level throughout the procedure.
+ Utilizes sterile or aseptic technique to scrub in and assists physicians with procedures per protocol.
+ Insertion and removal of venous and arterial access devices
+ Manually injects contrast agent.
+ Monitors and manages cardiovascular hemodynamics.
+ Operates ancillary equipment adherent to specific procedures.

+ Transfer patients safely to recovery areas and provide post-procedure care as directed.

**Job Summary**
Molina Healthcare Services (HCS) works with members, providers and multidisciplinary team members to assess, facilitate, plan and coordinate an integrated delivery of care across the continuum, including behavioral health and long-term care, for members with high need potential. + Works with participating ancillary providers, public agencies, or other service providers to make sure necessary services and equipment are in place for a safe transition.
+ Conducts face-to-face visits of all members while in the hospital and home visits of high-risk members post-discharge.
+ Coordinates care and reassesses member's needs using the Coleman Care Transitions Model recommended post-discharge timeline.
+ Educates and supports member focusing on seven primary areas (ToC Pillars): medication management, use of personal health record, follow up care, signs and symptoms of worsening condition, nutrition, functional needs and or Home and Community-based Services, and advance directives.
+ Uses motivational interviewing and Molina clinical guideposts to educate, support and motivate change during member contacts.
+ Assesses for barriers to care, provides care coordination and assistance to member to address concerns.
+ Facilitates interdisciplinary care team meetings and informal ICT collaboration.
+ RNs provide consultation, recommendations, and education as appropriate to non-RN case managers.
+ RNs are assigned cases with members who have complex medical conditions and medication regimens.
+ RNs will conduct medication reconciliation when needed.
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required Education**
Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
**Required Experience**
1-3 years hospital discharge planning or home health.
**Required License, Certification, Association**
+ Active, unrestricted State Registered Nursing (RN) license in good standing.
+ Must have valid driver's license with good driving record and be able to drive within applicable state or locality with reliable transportation.

**Job Summary**
Molina's Behavioral Health function provides leadership and guidance for utilization management and case management programs for mental health and chemical dependency services and assists with implementing integrated Behavioral Health care management programs.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**
Provides Psychiatric leadership for utilization management and case management programs for mental health and chemical dependency services. Works closely with the Regional Medical Directors to standardized utilization management policies and procedures to improve quality outcomes and decrease costs.
- Provide regional medical necessity reviews and cross coverage
- Standardizes UM practices and quality and financial goals across all LOBs
- Responds to BH-related RFP sections and review BH portions of state contracts
- Assist the BH MD lead trainers in the development of enterprise-wide teaching on psychiatric diagnoses and treatment
- Provides second level BH clinical reviews, BH peer reviews and appeals
- Supports BH committees for quality compliance.
- Implements clinical practice guidelines and medical necessity review criteria
- Tracks all clinical programs for BH quality compliance with NCQA and CMS
- Assists with the recruitment and orientation of new Psychiatric MDs
- Ensures all BH programs and policies are in line with industry standards and best practices
- Assists with new program implementation and supports the health plan in-source BH services
- Additional duties as assigned
**Job Qualifications**
**REQUIRED EDUCATION:**
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO) with Board Certification in Psychiatry
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:**
- 2 years previous experience as a Medical Director in clinical practice
- 3 years' experience in Utilization/Quality Program Management
- 2+ years HMO/Managed Care experience
- Experience demonstrating strong management and communication skills, consensus building and collaborative ability, and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of applicable state, federal and third-party regulations
**Required License, Certification, Association**
Active and unrestricted State (TX) Medical License, free of sanctions from Medicaid or Medicare.
**Preferred Experience**
- Peer Review, medical policy/procedure development, provider contracting experience.
- Experience with NCQA, HEDIS, Medicaid, Medicare and Pharmacy benefit management, Group/IPA practice, capitation, HMO regulations, managed healthcare systems, quality improvement, medical utilization management, risk management, risk adjustment, disease management, and evidence-based guidelines.

**POSITION SUMMARY:**
This position will be the main supporting role for the Case Management Service. This position supports the Case Managers, Medical Social Workers, Nursing staff, and other members of the health care team in meeting discharge planning and continuity of care needs for patients.
**EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:**
Associates degree in Business or Health related Field and 3 years of relevant experience (preferably in a health related setting) or equivalent combination of education and experience, excellent written/oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required, Working knowledge of computers.
Participates in orientation and continuing education. Updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.

PC and appropriate software knowledge. Effective communication skills both oral and written as well as good interpersonal, motivational and strong organizational skills including time management required. Customer service orientation.

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
