Job Description
The candidate for this full time onsite position will join the Operations Compliance team in Technical Operations. You will have an opportunity to look at technical and support processes end to end with a view toward meeting all customer/regulatory requirements while leveraging Lean Manufacturing and Mistake Proofing principles for Continuous Improvements. You will be teaming with members of the Technical Operations group along with staff building, testing and inspecting high reliability defense products as well supporting organizations who team to support manufacturing. This will enable you to gain a broad overview of aerospace manufacturing operations.
The candidate for this team will be mentored by senior department members who have a background in Industrial, Quality, Manufacturing and Materials Engineering. The position is ideal for a candidate who has the required educational experience plus exposure to manufacturing from military, prior work experience/internships as well as group project work.
**This is a first shift position on a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off! The hours can be flexible(7:30am to 5:00pm)**
Requirements:
+ Strong communication tools including presentations and teaching technical topics. This includes strong listening skills to gain understanding.
+ Prior knowledge or a desire to learn the AS910, the aerospace specific Quality Management System (QMS), requirements as well as customer requirements.
+ Experience or desire to interface with Manufacturing teams to assess manufacturing processes and procedures as well as define opportunities for improvement.
+ Knowledge and interested in Continuous improvement tool sets such as Lean Manufacturing, Mistake Proofing and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies.
+ Interest in learning the functions of the internal BAE Systems Manufacturing Execution System/Quality Management System to the level of Subject Matter Expert to help support training/mentoring and Continuous Improvement related to the tool.
+ Ability to use Microsoft suite of tools efficiently.
+ Familiarity with SharePoint, SQL and/or Visual basic programming
+ Ability to obtain Secret clearance as needed
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ ABET accredited Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, Mechanical or a related technical discipline.
+ Minimum of two years in an engineering,or manufacturing or equivalent military role.

Full-Time Salary Range: $86580 - $

The primary function of the Mixing Associate is to produce a wide variety of binders per formulation worksheets. The binders are used on various machines throughout the facility.
Operation of required equipment to mix or blend a wide variety of binder formulations. Start / Stop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained, allow them to mix for specified times, and open valves and start pumps to transfer mixtures. Add or mix chemicals and ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices.
Assure the accurate measurement of materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to formula requirements.
Perform quality checks. Test samples of materials or products to ensure compliance with specifications, using test equipment and test procedures from Plant Chemist. Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing as required.
Examine raw materials, ingredients, or products visually in order to ensure conformance to established standards. Able to recognize defects or issues and address them prior to production.
Responsible for performing safety equipment inspections, reporting of all deficiencies.
Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Assure that specified amounts of materials are distributed and processed to meet formulas as provided by Plant Chemist.
Responsible to maintain accurate inventory counts and location of all chemicals and binders.
Responsible for observing safety precautions at all times. Must work in a manner that is safe while continuously ensuring quality, production and performance expectations are met. Responsible for performing SMATs and/or TFs and be an active participant in all other facility audit, manufacturing and efficiency programs. This includes WCM involvement in projects and/or meetings, as required. Incumbents are responsible for ensuring 5S standards are met and maintained.
Conduct self in a manner that demonstrates cooperation, leadership and willingness to assist fellow workers with issues as they arise and provide assistance and training as may be necessary from time to time.
Incumbent is responsible for performing assigned duties until properly relieved.

**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $25.58-$38.36.

We are looking for a Lead Hand to support warehouse operations and provide direction to staff while ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials and inventory.
We are seeking a dependable and motivated leader who leads by example, values teamwork, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused warehouse operation.
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Lead Hand oversees and participates in the shipping, receiving, storing and issuing of supplies, inventory/fixed assets, maintain receiving and inventory control records and prepare related reports; serve as a lead over one or more assigned warehouse function; train and provide lead work direction and guidance to assigned staff.
Conduct self in a manner that demonstrates cooperation, leadership and willingness to assist fellow workers with handling issues as they arise and provide assistance and training as may be necessary from time to time.
Unloading incoming material and load customer orders going out for shipment in the warehouse area. This includes the picking and preparation of packaging for the material going to the customer's location.
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an industrial power truck to load and unload moving materials and products.
Reviews work orders, receiving documentations, shipping orders or follows verbal instruction to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Other warehouse tasks are also performed.
Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages and non -conformances to specifications. Processes documents, scrap authorizations transfers from PSDR area, and transfers to and from other branches.
Picks and prepares customer orders for outbound pick-ups. Loads materials into trucks and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools. Maintaining effective performance of activities and able to respond to fluctuating workloads and completion of all work orders accurately.
Deliver or route materials to departments using devices such as hand truck, forklift or tow motors. Examine contents and compares records such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy of incoming/outbound shipments and correct specifications contained in work orders. Responsible for the safe operation of forklift/tow-motor adhering to all safety precautions, company policies and procedures. Complete daily tow-motor inspection as required.
Counts, weighs, and records number of units of material moved. Attaches identifications tags or labels to material or marks information on cases or other containers.
Maintains organization and neatness of the warehouse per company standards of 5S. Maintaining safety standards and working in a safe manner while continuously ensuring quality products and performance. Performs SMAT/TF's and other audit programs.
Requirements:

+ 2-5 years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing/warehouse

The Production Operator - Dyrwall Patch is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing of drywall patch products. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production while meeting daily output targets.
The operator monitors the line, completes quality checks, and performs basic troubleshooting.Operate and monitor drywall patch production line in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Set up, adjust, and changeover machinery for production runs. Ensure consistent product quality by conducting in-process inspections and measurements. Maintain production flow by identifying and resolving minor equipment issues. Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
