Position Overview
Seeking a Project Manager responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing timely delivery of an emerging technologies information technology (IT) project and will lead and guide the work of technical staff and serve as the liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Reporting to the Clerk of Court, this position has broad and overarching information technology responsibilities. Duties The incumbent will be responsible for the overall administration and security of classified and unclassified information technology and telephone systems. This includes monitoring and maintaining hardware and software, ensuring integration and performance of all components, and maintaining the security and integrity of all systems, including passwords, virus protection, and backup. The incumbent will also administer courtroom technology, including audio, video, court reporting, and computer presentation systems. Responsibilities The incumbent will develop and implement technology policies and advise on technology spending, aligning technology with the strategic planning process. The Director of Information Technology will ensure that the Court's information and telecommunications systems function reliably and securely. As the sole point of contact and technology expert for the staff, the incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day operations, support, and security for all Court information technology. The Director of Information Technology will work closely with the Clerk and the Presiding Judge of the Court in designing, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated information technology systems for the Court.
