In this role, a typical day will include:
+ Being a technical contributor that will be implementing USPS cybersecurity and IT asset lifecycle management strategies protecting the digital network, connected assets, hosted applications and data, and employees within the Information Technology (IT) environment supporting USPS business, financial, and retail activities
+ Responsible for infrastructure, application and user administration of the USPS Tanium environment. The USPS Tanium environment is engaged with a heterogeneous mixture of over 100,000 end-user and server systems
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:**
**Education** :
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, preferred but not required
+ NOTE: If resources do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required
**Required Experience** :
+ **8+ years of IT security experience** with strong demonstrated experience in large enterprise IT environment including application of asset visibility solutions towards IT hardware and software asset management security efforts
+ Management supporting both IT operations and security efforts including OS patching, application maintenance, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support
+ **Candidates must also have documented enterprise-based experience as a Tanium administrator**
+ **Candidates must also have a Tanium certification**
+ Specific technical knowledge experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as **Armis Centrix** , **Splunk** use and knowledge object development, **Windows and Linux system administration**
+ AI tool application for data analysis and business process improvement (desired)

The likely salary range for this position is $108,979 - $147,443. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Information Technology (IT) Project Analyst will support the planning, execution, and management of various projects, ensuring they align with M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office (IEMO) goals and requirements. This role involves analyzing project data, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing insights to drive project success.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**
**Project Planning and Coordination:**
+ Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
+ Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure alignment and adherence to project timelines.
**Data Analysis and Reporting:**
+ Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
+ Prepare and present detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders.
**Risk Management:**
+ Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
+ Monitor project progress and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.
**Stakeholder Communication:**
+ Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
+ Ensure all parties are informed of project status, changes, and key decisions.
**Documentation and Compliance:**
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
+ Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and security protocols.
+ Continuous Improvement:
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
+ Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in project management.
**Mandatory Qualifications:**
+ Active TS/SCI clearance
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in project analysis, project management, or a related field
+ Proven experience working on projects within a high-security environment.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified associate in project management (CAPM) is preferred.

Supporting the Office of the CIO and reporting directly to the IT Program Manager, the IT Project Manager is responsible for leading efforts to deliver projects that span across multiple functional areas and/or directorates.
Responsibilities
+ The IT Project Manager responsibilities will also consist of leveraging resources, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, monitoring project progression, summarizing, and delivering project status information.
+ The IT Project Manager will also collaborate cross functionally to ingest internal and external requirements, determine interdependencies, develop, and define project success criteria, manage change, and mitigate/manage risk through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
+ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Experience:
+ Shall have 10 or more years of IT Project Management experience.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage complex and/or high-risk projects including Agile/Waterfall projects with multiple components.
+ Shall be able to coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget, and within scope.

+ Ability to identify and manage directorate and functional area interdependencies.
+ Demonstrated experience working with ServiceNow or similar product offerings that are in line with IT Service Management duties and responsibilities such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, and Change Management.

+ Ability to accurately track milestones, dependencies, tasks, and levels of effort, to ensure quality of value.

+ Shall meet the minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) positions as defined.
+ Desired Qualifications
