Coke Florida is looking for a Sales Account Manager (SAM) based out of our Orlando location.

What You Will Do:

As a Coke Florida Sales Account Manager (SAM), you will be responsible for existing business development and customer relationships. The SAM increases business by selling additional brands and packages within his or her sales territory's existing customer base. The Sales Account Manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Florida works across all sales channels on a specified and cyclical sales route.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Selling products and displays to customers following prescribed sales priorities.
  • Customarily and regularly performs these primary duties in the field visiting customer accounts away from a company facility or office.
  • Build and maintain profitable customer relationships.
  • Execute and close all sales calls.
  • Sell in incremental displays and equipment placements; sell in of CMA and other contractual agreements to customers. Drives promotional programs and ensures dealer compliance.
  • Review business results with customers.
  • Drives innovation brands into the market via existing customer base.
  • Uses tools and sales process as trained to grow our in-outlet execution.
  • Ensure company assets meet performance requirements and develop a plan of action for those assets generating zero or low volume.
  • Ensure outlets comply with Coca-Cola Beverages Florida standards.
  • Communicate account activities to appropriate parties.
  • Some merchandising and rotation inspection.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, including researching and closing customer service tickets.
  • Transport, replace, and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for account.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Work overtime as assigned.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Identifying and reporting any unsafe working conditions.

For this role, you will need:

  • High School or GED (General Education Diploma)
  • At least 1 year of general work experience.
  • Ability to create & conduct sales presentations including ability to overcome objections.

  • Ability to work variable schedule, weekends and holidays required.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must have and maintain current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by the company.

  • Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours.
  • Frequent lifting of 25+ pounds. Occasional lifting of 50+ pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling, and light merchandising.

*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coca-Cola Beverages Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the Sales Account Manager position.

Additional qualifications that will make you successful in the role:

  • Bachelor's degree/3-4 Yr. College - Univ. Degree preferred.
  • 1+ years previous sales experience preferred.
  • Food/beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Proficient in computer application skills.

This role is extremely physical, which will require:
  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance frequently
  • Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, reaching at the waist, reaching below the knees and bending at the knees frequently
  • Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack or hand truck) containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance frequently
  • Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities
  • Ability to read information in small, medium and large print
  • Ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours during the workday up to 10 hours
  • Ability to walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday

- Partners with Area Sales to identify new group/catering business and achieve personal and property revenue goals.
- Acts as the on-property liaison for group events over the Group Sales peak room parameters of the Sales Office.
- Develops group sales revenue and operation budgets, and provides forecasting reports.
- Works with the management team to create and implement a group sales/marketing plan addressing revenue, customers, and market.
- Assists with selling, implementation, and follow-through of group sales promotions.
- Attends pre- and post-convention meetings to understand group needs, obtain feedback on quality of product (e.g., rooms, meeting facilities and equipment, food and beverage), service levels, and overall satisfaction.
- Provides accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management.
- Executes and supports Marriott's Customer Service Standards and hotel's Brand Standards.
- Conducts site inspections, as required.
- Monitors same day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control hotel occupancy.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).

- Verifies that the property implements a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering high level of service.
- Monitors the effective resolution of guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other appropriate stakeholders.
- Verifies successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses, and providing a return on investment for the owner and Marriott International.
- Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
**Building Successful Relationships**
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for group/catering sales opportunities.
- Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g., Group Sales within the Sales Office, Area Sales, EST) to verify the property needs are being achieved and the sales efforts are complementary, not duplicative.

- Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and verifying their satisfaction before and during their program/event.
- Implements the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and drives customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations, while building a relationship and loyalty to Marriott.

The hourly pay range for this position is $45.19 to $61.54. The **UniFirst Apparel Program Sales Executive (APSE)** is responsible for generating new Corporate Account and Regional Direct Sales within a defined territory. The APSE is charged with managing the entire sales process including identifying target accounts, setting appointments with key decision makers, understanding the needs and roles of all buying influences, creating value through a deep understanding of our prospect's challenges and presenting a compelling solution that will improve their business.
+ Generate new qualified annual Direct Sales revenues during each UniFirst fiscal year.

+ Develop custom solutions for target accounts and quantify process improvements and savings.

+ Align the necessary internal groups and departments to make sure we meet and exceed the prospects expectations.
+ Utilize SFA to effectively qualify and prioritize opportunities based on contract expiration dates, market conditions, and our competitive strengths and weaknesses. Effectively use the available networking tools (LinkedIn, InsideView, etc.) to reach high level
+ decision makers and generate interest early in the sales process.
+ Work with our Market Research and Development (MRD) group to efficiently manage your database and increase the number of prospects and quality of information.
+ Constantly monitor the competitive market conditions, sales and pricing strategies, and buying trends in order to devise effective strategies to counter strengths and take advantage of weaknesses.
+ Maintain an accurate funnel, forecast and monthly activity report.
+ Meet or exceed the minimum sales activity requirements.
**Qualifications**
+ 3 years of outside B2B sales experience.
+ Experience selling large Regional Accounts and Corporate Programs to committees and "C" level Executives
+ Ability to work autonomously at very high productivity levels
+ Demonstrated track record of success including recognition through awards and promotions
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Bachelor's degree required.
