As the Medical Records Clerk / Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for our athletes, as well as performing data entry tasks to support our operations. This is a full-time, permanent position at our headquarters in New York City.

This remote position is open to U.S.-based candidates only.


Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update medical records for all athletes, including injury history, treatment plans, and progress reports

- Ensure all medical records are organized, accurate, and up-to-date

- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary medical information and records

- Enter data into our electronic medical records system accurately and efficiently

- Assist with data entry tasks for various departments, including finance, marketing, and operations

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive medical information

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks

- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and best practices

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in medical records management or data entry

- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic medical records systems

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

- Passion for sports and knowledge of the industry is a plus
