Job Purpose:

The IT Systems Support Analyst will be responsible for continuous (24/7) technical support for Point of Sale (POS) and IT Systems across our golf course venues. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand configuration requirements and translating them into effective system setups.

Responsibilities
  • Centrally manage POS data sets and configuration files using enterprise management tools.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Operations to ensure programming changes meet operational needs in our courses.
  • Maintain distinct price tiers and configuration settings by brand, market, region, and Golf Shop type, including sales tax rates/rules and kitchen routing schemes.
  • Collaborate with Culinary and Beverage teams to configure menus and inventory items.
  • Support the implementation of POS and IT related systems for new opening courses.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Training on field communications related to system updates.
  • Configure reporting systems based on feedback from operations.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and communicate progress and status updates.
  • Manage and direct AGC's Technical Support's daily operations
  • Maintain inter-departmental relationships that contribute to the daily operations of the Technical Support Team
  • Create training documentation for the Technical Support Team & Field / Home Office Co-Workers
  • Coordinate training sessions for the Technical Support Team
  • Work with the Director and the POS Team to research inconsistencies in the point of sale (POS) to the accounting reconciliation

POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America is seeking a passionate Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Culver City, CA. In this role, you will support our cutting-edge 3D content creation technology in virtual production, driving innovative projects through seamless communication with both internal and external partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide effective technical support for 3D content creation to key content development stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate how to create 3D content and explain proper setup and workflow at both internal and external studios, offering consultation and support for tools and equipment.
  • Collect and organize feedback on technical issues, requirements, and improvement points from engineers, producers, and creators, relaying this information back to Sony and partners for tool and workflow enhancement.
  • Conduct test shoots for virtual production to evaluate and refine workflows and techniques.
  • Offer technical support to the production team and propose technical approaches for problem-solving.
  • Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Practical experience in virtual production or related technologies.
  • Proficiency in game engines such as Unreal Engine.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (C++, Python, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships, along with effective written, oral, and listening communication skills, and a proactive approach to sharing information with peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Availability for case-by-case evening work and participation in recurring evening conference calls/meetings with internal and external partners.
  • Experience with necessary office tools.
  • Ability to travel as required

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

About the Role

As the Technical Support Engineer, you will provide technical support to consultants, contractors, and end-users with product and troubleshooting information relevant to the Harman Professional brands.

What You Will Do

  • Provide high-level technical expertise to both Internal and External customers.
  • Create digital customer self-help materials for Audio brands.
  • Make design recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on best practices and the correct utilization of Harman Professional equipment.
  • Log product problems within the HAR Customer Relationship Mgmt. (CRM) System and escalate to Mgmt. & Engineering teams when appropriate.
  • Attempt to resolve customer issues while products are still in the field, eliminating the need for a product return or exchange.
  • Exercise judgment within defined practices and policies in selecting the best methods and /or techniques for solving problems and obtaining solutions for the customer.
  • Issue repair authorizations and advanced replacement requests when necessary.
  • When required, help with spare parts identification.
  • Work with customers and sales partners to identify and arrange customers' training needs.
  • Research and create product comparison sheets for sales reps and internal customers
  • Physical Demands: must occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasional gear maintenance and setup, including cleaning.

What You Need

  • Strong knowledge of audio principles.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the professional audio industry
  • Live Music/Lighting Production Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the company and competitors' Audio products.
  • Experience with Home Studio Products and Techniques.

What is Nice to Have

  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • Proven interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite - After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Operating System, Office products, and MAC OS X.
  • Extensive knowledge of the company and competitors, Lighting products

Pay Transparency

$ 66,000 - $ 96,800
