Job Title: Help Desk Support/LOS Systems Administrator

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Support/Systems Administrator professional to provide front-line technical assistance to internal staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with Encompass or a similar Loan Origination System. This role is critical in supporting employees, resolving system issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technical operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong mortgage operations background with the desire to move into the technical side of the business. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for internal staff via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Administer, configure, and maintain the LOS platform (Vesta).
  • Develop and document new workflows in LOS, address common issues and create user guides or FAQs.
  • Collaborate with operations, product, compliance, and IT to ensure LOS supports business goals.
  • Troubleshoot system issues/errors and manage updates, releases, and integrations.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within business systems.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees (if they need equipment setup help, login credentials, system orientation).
  • Track, monitor, and resolve support tickets in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in various departments within mortgage operations.
  • Strong technical aptitude and a passion for the systems side of the business.
  • Proven ability to translate operational needs into system solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Job Description:
Our client located in Providence, RI has an immediate opening for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team. The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for the configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades to the technical end user environment. This position Supports the implementation, installation, maintenance and operation of information technology and other functional systems for the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and implement fixes and workarounds for PC's, laptops, and other mobile devices.
  • Provides a high level of customer service and support as it relates to responding to help desk requests.
  • Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
  • Coordinate directly with various state agencies regarding hardware and software service and repair requirements.
  • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving issues with web-based connection issues to other agencies.
  • Provide remote support to end users/customers during off hours.
  • Troubleshoot and deliver solutions to common hardware/software problems.
  • Create, deploy, and maintain PC images and Software Distribution packages.
  • Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring cloud and locally based software.
  • Perform archiving of user's data and email.
  • Maintains and reports on inventory and support schedules.
  • Must be available for on-call and after-hours responsibilities.

Required
  • Work experience equivalent to or Degree in Computer Science preferred
  • Current Network and Operating System Certifications strongly preferred.
  • Must possess strong technology skills, organization skills, structure, effective listening, and communication skills, handle multiple tasks and remain calm under stressful and challenging activities.
  • Proficiency in computer use, troubleshooting and problem solving are required.
  • Experience with:

o Desktop and Laptop Computers, surfaces, and other devices.
o Printers, Scanners and Monitors

o Microsoft Office 365
o Proprietary software solutions
o Internet Browsers (IE, Firefox, and Chrome)
