**JOB SUMMARY**
TO PROVIDE A LEADERSHIP AND GUIDANCE ROLE IN THE OUTBOUND LOGISTICS (JACKSONVILLE OFFICE). ASSIST UPPER MANAGEMENT TO CREATE, MAINTAIN, UPDATE, AND FOLLOW EXPORT LOGISTICS PROCEDURES AFFORDING OUR CUSTOMERS A HIGH LEVEL OF SERVICE WHILE ENSURING MAXIMUM LOGISTICS INCOME AND PROVIDE BACKUP FOR SUPERIORS AND SUBORDINATES WITH IN THE EXPORT LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT AS NEEDED.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ CREATE BOOKINGS AND DISPATCHES AS NEEDED. CREATE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN SPECIAL LOGISTICS PROJECTS ASSIGNED BY UPPER MANAGEMENT. TROUBLE SHOOT AND CHOOSE ALTERNATIVE CARRIERS AS CIRCUMSTANCES REQUIRE BASED ON CUSTOMER AND / OR IFG SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS.
+ MANAGE EXPORT LOGISTICS ACTIVITIES VIA COMMUNICATIONS WITH SALES, OPERATIONS AND OUTSIDE VENDORS. DRIVE PROBLEM RESOLUTION THROUGH BOOKINGS ISSUES, CALENDAR RATE INQUIRIES AND MARKET MANAGER GENERAL REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION. AS WELL AS DELEGATING ADDITIONAL DAILY TASKS TO SUBORDINATES.
+ DRIVE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT THROUGH EMPLOYEE TRAINING, PROCESS REVIEW, AND CARRIER SELECTION FOR LOGISTICS ACTIVITIES IN AND RELATED TO IFG JACKSONVILLE.
+ CREATE AND MAINTAIN ANY REPORTING TOOLS REQUIRED BY UPPER MANAGEMENT TO CONTINUOUSLY MONITOR INDIVIDUAL SBO'S AND CMPS.
+ OVERSEE AND SUPPORT POSITIONS AND PERSONELL REPORTING TO THIS POSITION TO INCLUDE EMPLOYEE EVALUATIONS AND/OR DISAPLINARY ACTIONS.
+ OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
**Education:**
+ HSD OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED. COLLEGE DEGREE PREFERRED.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**What you will do in this role:**
+ Provide leadership, management and administration of all aspects of departments in order to ensure organizational mission and objectives are met
+ Develop relationships and processes that will enhance access to HCA facilities, services, physicians, and health care professionals
+ Hire and maintain appropriate staffing levels and utilization of personnel and ensure the highest quality of professional skill
+ Provide a structured means for policy and procedure development through regularly scheduled staff meetings allowing for continual evaluation, review, and update of standards, functions, goals, and objectives
+ Under the direction of the TC AVP, work collaboratively with HCA clinical and medical staff advisors and client designated medical staff advisors to establish, revise, and enforce the clinical and medical staff participation criteria for transfer operations, throughput, and communications operations
+ In collaboration with throughput leaders, identifies and implements capacity management changes needed for effective throughput
+ Under the direction of the TC AVP and in conjunction with Physician Relations, perform regular visits to strategic outreach facilities to provide training, communication, and address service opportunities related to transfer center activities

+ In conjunction with the TC AVP, collect, correlate, analyze, and interpret operational, financial, and statistical data. Inform and advise appropriate members of the HCA Senior Management team of potential business opportunities
+ Demonstrate responsibility for the containment of costs through appropriate ordering of supplies, recovery of service charges, and conservation of supplies
+ Monitor department expenditures to ensure compliance with budget limits
**What requirements you will need:**
+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
+ Master's degree in healthcare or business related field preferred
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience as a RN clinical manager and/or supervisory experience preferred
+ RN License in the states where the HCA facilities for that Division are located - multi-state license required if Transfer Center covers more than a single state (may be obtained upon hire)

+ Designing and implementing o9 technology to drive measurable results in industry or consulting environments;
+ Understanding demand planning and forecast development, impact of forecast accuracy on inventory levels, manufacturing costs, transportation costs, warehousing costs and customer service;
+ Demonstrating ability to present complex supply optimization analytics in simple supply chain cost and performance terms; and,
+ Demonstrating experience in quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to critical thinking and the ability to manage details in context of the overall supply chain performance.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including:
+ Understanding of capabilities of o9 planning and control tower tools;
+ Understanding the components of a demand planning process including: maintenance of demand data, statistical forecast, customer input process, internal input process, execution;
+ Planning demand and supply for CPG manufacturing, Industrial Products, Paper and Pulp and Pharma Life Science;
+ Managing Inventory management including tiered inventory levels and cost optimization with respect to customer service performance;
+ Optimizing of supply plans consistent with overall corporate objectives;
+ Understanding key performance indicators, roles and responsibilities and tools that support sales and operations planning processes (S&OP);
+ Assessing current supply planning processes and systems, and identify opportunities to improve fulfillment of the demand plans while achieving inventory objectives across the tactical and strategic horizons;
+ Developing and implementing of supply chain network planning, material planning and capacity planning optimization (Processes / People / Systems); and,
+ Understanding and executing global inventory management policies that address optimum service strategies for inventory to support customer demand and inventory targets.
