Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics company, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee their key operations in Dallas, Texas, US . This hybrid role will involve a combination of on-site management and strategic planning, offering a balanced approach to operational leadership. You will be responsible for optimizing supply chain processes, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient delivery of services. This is a critical position requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of logistics management.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, and coordinators.
  • Oversee the management of inventory accuracy and stock rotation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
  • Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality control measures.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing warehouse operations and optimizing supply chains.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metric reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site presence with remote strategic work.
