# Project Overview:
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located at State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. As the #1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self-perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery. Partnering with Bechtel means lower cost, shorter delivery schedules, and greater certainty of outcomes for our customers.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will supervise team and material management operations for a construction project to ensure conformance to corporate policies including receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security and issue of materials and equipment. You will make recommendations for facility, equipment, and staffing resources to ensure performance continues to meet project requirements. The primary work location for this position is at the company's laydown yard facilities in Baytown, Texas. #LI-CS1
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Supervises material management operations of personnel assigned to a medium sized project to ensure conformance to corporate, global business unit and project policies and procedures in all disciplines and functional areas for which material management is responsible including the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control (manual and/or automated), physical security and issue of materials and equipment
+ Identifies the need and completing the action for all UOS&D material and equipment received at project temporary operating and jobsite locations
+ Initiates actions to identify and dispose of material and equipment declared excess to project needs by project management
+ Recommends long-range personnel requirements and assists Project Field Procurement Manager in coordinating the timely staffing of required positions
+ Prepares recommendations for facilities and equipment necessary to provide for professional material management operations at project temporary and jobsite locations, as specifically directed by the Project Field Procurement Manager. This activity begins as early as practical in the planning stages and continues throughout the project
+ Directs the preparation of procedures and instructions establishing material management responsibilities and methods of operations pertaining to material management activities at project temporary operating and jobsite locations to include but is not limited to project procedures, which must be compliant with approved Integrated Work Process Procedure with approved variations if required
+ Assists Project Field Procurement Manager in establishing and monitoring a continuing program to dispose of surplus materials and equipment as it is identified as excess to project needs by project management
# Education and Experience Requirements:
**Level I:**
+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9 -12 years of relevant work experience
# Level II:
+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Knowledge of materials management automated systems, interfaces between systems, and how data is shared and managed, including personnel required to execute known workload.
+ Ability to blend materials management with project work packaging strategy.
+ Good organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of the full scope of materials management functions on a construction project, including personnel required to execute known workload.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills.
+ Broad understanding of standard field procurement procedures, including knowing the requirements set forth in the Standard Work Process Procedures.
+ Demonstrated warehouse supervisory experience.
+ Advanced knowledge of Field Procurement operations related to the receipt, storage and control of materials on a project.
+ Advanced knowledge of Field Engineering disciplines, work processes and the deliverables produced.
+ Knowledge of vendor, fabricator, contractor, Customer and other outside data systems and how those systems interact with Bechtel's Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS).
+ Working knowledge of DSCS / SiteSense or other materials management system.
+ Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
+ Advanced knowledge of work packaging, pre-buy methodology, and materials status reporting.
+ Basic experience, skill, and/or training in supervising workload distribution and execution of the work, as well as personnel interviewing, selection, salary planning, classification changes, performance evaluation, career counseling when delegated, training, terminations, and transfers.
+ Basic skill in working with and communicating effectively with supervisors of other project functional groups, primarily Engineering, Construction, and Project Management.
**Additional Information:** Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.).

Het eerste jaar zul je veel in Roosendaal zijn waar je nauw contact hebt met de site manager van Roosendaal. Je zult in deze periode 4 dagen in Roosendaal werken en 1 dag in Oss. Hier zul je veel contact hebben met het centrale engineers team en rapporteer je aan de Project manager.
In deze rol ben jij het aanspreekpunt voor efficintieverbeteringen binnen het warehouse. Je zorgt voor een slimme indeling van het warehouse en denkt actief mee over de meest efficinte routing voor inkomende en uitgaande goederenstromen, inclusief retouren. Hierbij hou je rekening met de specifieke processen van onze klanten. Je ondersteunt bij de inrichting van nieuwe (tijdelijke) warehouses en begeleidt de inrichting van overflow locaties wanneer nodig.
Daarnaast speel je een belangrijke rol in het uitvoeren van verbetertrajecten in het warehouse en het uitwerken van logistieke concepten. Je ondersteunt in projecten en de implementatie van nieuwe klanten en werkt nauw samen met de afdeling Business Development om commercieel te ondersteunen. Hierbij bereid je presentaties voor en cordineer je het tenderproces met alle betrokken partijen.
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van klantrapportages en analyses. Ook denk je actief mee in de ontwikkeling van logistieke en IT-oplossingen en zorg je voor de praktische toepassing ervan binnen onze organisatie.

Jouw werkzaamheden
Leveranciersmanagement: Je onderhoudt en optimaliseert relaties met bestaande leveranciers en zoekt actief naar nieuwe partners die aansluiten bij onze kwaliteitseisen en waarden.
Voorraadbeheer en logistiek: Je houdt overzicht over onze voorraden (B2B en B2C), zorgt voor tijdige aanvulling en voorkomt tekorten of overschotten. Je bewaakt nauwkeurig de balans tussen klantbestellingen, inkooporders en voorraadniveaus.
Inkoopbeheer: Jij zorgt ervoor dat wij proactief kunnen sturen en nooit misgrijpen op materiaal. Je plaatst inkooporders, volgt deze op en rondt deze af.
Plannen en cordineren: Je zorgt voor een vlekkeloze cordinatie van het hele supply chain proces - van inkoop tot uitlevering - en stuurt bij waar nodig

Jouw profiel & skills
Een hbo- of wo-opleiding in de richting van Supply Chain, Logistiek, Bedrijfskunde of vergelijkbaar.
Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring, bij voorkeur in een groeiende, technische B2B- of B2C-omgeving.
Ervaring met leveranciersmanagement, voorraadbeheer en logistieke processen.
Affiniteit met compliance en kwaliteitsnormen (ervaring is een pr).
Je bent een zelfstandige regelaar die eigenaarschap neemt, durft aan te spreken en sterk is in analyseren en documenteren.
Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.
Ervaring met ERP-systemen zoals Exact is een pr.
