Our Downtown Cleveland, Ohio Food Manufacturing Factory is seeking an experienced and skilled Electro-Mechanic Maintenance Technician who can work independently to support factory shift maintenance needs.
This person will serve as a plant maintenance worker in repairing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining various food processing and packaging equipment to determine nature and extent of repairs or alterations required. They also complete preventative maintenance assignments, respond to line and equipment calls, support building and grounds keeping needs. Additional skills should be reflected in resume and work history:
- Schematic / drawing interpretation
- Blueprint reading.
- Electrical equipment repair, VFDs, multi-phase electric motors, and relays.
- TPM/Lean concepts focusing on continuous improvement and teamwork / creative problem solving to identify and perform equipment improvements.
- Hydraulics.
- Pneumatics.
- Mechanical repair and replacement of machine components.
- PLC logic controls, motor control logic.
Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of previous maintenance experience
- Technical training or certifications desired.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks and comfort working in a high-speed production environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience desired.
- Experience with CMMS or maintenance work order systems needed, SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively.
- Solid problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to coach others.
- Willingness to work internally and externally in diverse environmental conditions.
Shifts available: 2nd Shift (2:30pm-10:00pm), 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:30am)

**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, and repairing all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment in the plant without direct supervision. Plant equipment includes, but is not limited to: CNC machines, presses and horizontal saws. This position will work closely with multiple personnel including machine operators, upper management, quality control, outside vendors, and other employees, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role offers a sign on bonus, attendance bonuses and plenty of room for growth
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair all equipment in the plant.
+ Disassemble and assemble equipment as needed.
+ Assist other maintenance team members.
+ Follow proper procedures for lockout/tagout of any equipment to be worked on.
+ Follow PMs scheduled for the shift.
+ Accurately document repairs made using the CMMS program.
+ Assist in other duties as assigned by management.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns such as motors, hydraulics, pneumatics.
+ Run, install, rewire, and repair any AC or DC control panel or circuitry in the facility.
+ Document completion of all assigned tasks through the CMMS system.
+ Comply with all company safety policies and rules.
+ Assist other maintenance technicians in other duties as assigned by management.
+ Ability to read, understand, correct, or modify blueprints.
+ Ability to operate a lift truck & overhead crane.
