Qualifications
Must have Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related; Two (2) year experience in position related to market research and data analysis for business opportunities and effective campaign in the international logistics industry; Two (2) year experience in utilizing Crystal Reports, MySQL, SPSS, and Tableau.

**Summary:** Market Research Specialist / Coordinator will work within the R&D Translational Science team as part of an end-to-end R&D organization to support existing products within the Skin Health category. You will be a key contact for communication with the functional leads within R&D to ensure planning and execution of consumer-based research studies as well as providing a high throughput of claim substantiation documentation. You will work closely within R&D to drive project progress.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate the execution of qualitative and quantitative research that are strategically aligned with project team
+ Participate in analysis and interpretation of results and communication to R&D
+ Program coordination, including adherence to budgets, liaison with vendors, project planning/scheduling, execution, issue resolution, monitor activities against project plans
+ Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with high ethical/quality standards and all applicable policies and procedures
+ Familiarity with product claims and understand translating technical knowledge to substantiate claims
+ Create detailed documentation for review and approval, using good documentation practices
+ Partner successfully with R&D, safety, regulatory, marketing, and project management functions
+ Must have the ability to collaborate, manage routine processes, and partner successfully within R&D
**Required Qualifications**
+ Must have consumer products industry experience
+ Must have experience relating to human research studies in a consumer product goods company or cosmetics company, i.e., consumer studies, clinical cosmetic studies, qualitative research, and quantitative research
+ A minimum of a BS/BA with 2+ years of industry and/or other relevant work experience with in qualitative and quantitative research in consumer, sensory or clinical science or market research
+ Must be highly motivated and highly organized as well as possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Attention to detail with a mindset for compliance is essential
+ MS Office intermediate level experience, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

+ Previous experience in providing scientific support for claims and appropriately documenting is preferred

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field is ; Master of Science and/or MBA strongly preferred Minimum of 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on HCP, patient and payer strategic insights and analytics A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Data Science, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred 3+ years of domain expertise in these areas are highly desired: primary market research, data science, field analytics and insights, market access and patient service analytics, or other related strategic analytics and management consulting Strong analytical background, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and aligning them with business priorities for therapeutic areas to drive impactful results Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with leadership across NVS and IDS functions to translate strategic objectives into the right research metrics and present complex insights effectively to diverse audiences Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed teams, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions including marketing, provider and patient engagement Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and priorities Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $132,300.00 and $45,700.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
