We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate has strong communication and graphic design skills and has experience working in a creative field. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate firm-wide with our staff to craft compelling narratives and presentations showcasing the incredible design work being produced by our office. Theyll also support our business development processes by responding to initial client requests, conducting information gathering calls, and helping to create and track proposals. The Marketing Specialist is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three days a week in-person at our beautiful office in central Austin, Texas, and two flexible work-from-home days.
Responsibilities
- Produce a wide range of marketing collateral including: RFP/RFQ responses, award submissions, presentations, client interviews, portfolios, and more
- Update and maintain the firms website and social media accounts
- Conduct initial client calls and information gathering, and coordinate with our internal team to develop interview presentations and track proposal development
- Coordinate with the design staff to gather information to develop project messaging for resumes, project descriptions, public relations, website, awards submissions, etc.
- Create and maintain an up to date project information database
- Develop and maintain organized marketing systems and records
- Coordinate project photography
- Create and coordinate corporate marketing collateral such as business cards, construction signage, and more
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Adobe suite of products
- Strong graphic design skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Ability to operate under deadlines
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to work well with others
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills
- 3+ years of experience in marketing
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience working in architecture, interior design or other design-focused firm
