Manager, Digital Marketing and Strategy (Distribution)

Reports to: President, Distribution and VP, Digital Strategy

Location: New York, NY (Full-Time, On-Site)

The Role: Roc Nation is seeking a Manager of Digital Marketing and Strategy. This position reports to both the President of Distribution & VP of Digital Strategy and serves as a key member of the Roc Nation digital team servicing Distribution clients. The role will support continued development and growth for a diverse roster of Roc Nation artists.

Responsibilities will include: executing promotional campaigns, designing and implementing creative marketing plans, securing digital retail merchandising/playlisting, facilitating requests between partners, managers and artists and maintaining artist web & social platforms. The Manager will be responsible for shaping both digital strategy and the execution of plans, including social media publishing, on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing/sales and content distribution strategies for client; prepare pitches to key digital retail, mobile, and online promotional partners to secure retail campaigns and marketing opportunities for releases
  • Partner Management: Support and manage relationships with key digital partner accounts; liaise with label distribution partners to execute digital sales plans and marketing initiatives
  • Content Development: Produce and post digital content, including text, images, videos; liaise with artist and their team to develop artist generated content
  • Site and Social Development / Management: Support and manage new artist site builds and launches; maintain and update artist sites, social media profiles & Roc Nation properties
  • Creative Marketing and Revenue Development: Grow artist awareness, site traffic and content syndication through third party editorials, feature placements, social networking strategies, influencer marketing, marketing programs, D2C initiatives, contests/sweepstakes and exclusive content promotions to drive revenue
  • Reporting and Analysis: Liaison with the Data team to compile and distribute regular reports to internal teams; utilize data to evaluate campaign efficacy; evaluate internal and competitive digital campaign performances to determine each promotion's success and areas of opportunity/growth; create reports for artists and external partners
  • Other Priority Marketing: Work with Roc Nation's marketing team to execute content release campaigns, tour promotions and support all other company initiatives (e.g. Made in America, lifestyle brands, Sports initiatives).

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience managing the use of and/or relationships with digital distribution and social platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of and passion for the music market
  • An in-depth understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies and digital music services
  • Excellent copywriting skills; ability to write under pressure for multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • The highest attention to detail
  • Track record building and maintaining strong business relationships
  • Strong oral/written communication skills

Required Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and leverages up to date channel learnings and audience insights to ensure optimal ad targeting and creative development.
  • Develops and implements content to support marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Executes and manages advertising campaigns in leading search, social, and retail advertising channels (including Amazon, Walmart, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google among others).
  • Uses internal and external tools to launch, analyze, and optimize cross-channel advertising.
  • Employs digital advertising best practices around targeting and segmentation, tests and A/B splits, and campaign optimization.
  • Routinely analyzes advertising and sales performance to achieve ROI goals and inform strategy.
  • Effectively communicates to key internal and external stakeholders around campaign status, KPIs, and recommended actions (including overseeing regular reporting to distribution publishers and Ingram management).
  • Excels at project management and running several campaigns simultaneously.
  • Manages relationships and communications with external marketing partners (including TikTok, Amazon Ads, Walmart Ads, and online content creators).
  • Works across business units to ensure that efforts are driving sales in an ROI-positive way.
  • Monitor trends on best practices and techniques across the book industry, ecommerce, social media, consumer marketing, and online advertising spaces.
  • Evaluates new opportunities and technologies while proactively researching issues and formulating solutions.

Hiring Salary Range: $87,475k - $110,601k This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

As a member of our growing Digital Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Manager will play a key role in managing our paid media and cash back programs. The right candidate is naturally curious, thrives in a test & learn environment, and will have a proven background in driving efficient traffic and revenue to digital channels and store locations.

In this role, you are excited to roll up your sleeves and bring your experience of managing an AOR and multiple media partners to evolve and execute our digital marketing strategy. Job Responsibilities and Duties

Media Planning & Execution

  • Collaborate and build full-funnel media plans with our media partners
  • Oversee end-to-end execution including briefs, assets, tagging, and any other requirements
  • Manage daily performance optimization to hit annual targets

AOR and Vendor Management

  • Day-to-day point of contact
  • Lead weekly vendor calls to discuss performance and develop action plans based on learnings
  • Hold partners accountable for performance and deliverables while managing needs and requirements

Finance & Budgeting

  • Work with finance partners for budgeting, forecasting, and in-campaign spend tracking

The Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for capturing, analyzing, and visualizing digital media performance to support Shake Shack's marketing and business objectives. This role leads the development of dashboards and insights using tools like Google Analytics and Data Studio, while also managing the company's Marketing Mix Model.   • Own the data orchestration, visualization, and analysis of Shake Shack's marketing and product efforts related to web, app, kiosk, and CRM
  • Gathers and mines data from all relevant sources, including Snowflake, Google Analytics, and external data sources
  • Utilize third-party marketing mix model platform to report on historical marketing performance and forecast impact of suggested re-allocation strategies
  • Partner with external agencies to steer analytics requirements and gather data where needed from marketing partners and external applications
  • Serve as a key resource for understanding the customer journey as it relates to marketing/product and own segmentation of database to optimize marketing efforts

  • Analyzes data identifying trends and patterns related to guest (CRM) segments, marketing performance, web/app analytics, and user experience

Job Description

The Manager, Digital Marketing will lead and support full funnel paid media tactics to support various business objectives. Digital Media Manager will be tasked with analyzing, managing, and optimizing Guerlain's media strategy in the US to support brand equity objectives along with performance media goals.

This role will work closely with Agency partners as well as strategically along-side the Digital & Communication teams to concept out, develop and launch all digital media initiatives that contribute to the brand 360 marketing support. This role will coordinate all aspects of digital campaign development with the agency and support teams to ensure deadlines, tracking requirements and goals have been successfully accomplished. Role will work closely with NA and Global brand Marketing and Creative Services to achieve overall project objectives and deliver assets in a timely fashion. This role will work in partnership with the Central team on asset coordination and market requirements as well as program validation. This role will ensure optimal user experience across all platforms and placements and consistently monitor program from start to end.

Drive Media Campaigns
