Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for performing all tasks and communication related to the intake of patient information concerning the service of durable medical equipment and respiratory products and supplies with patients/clients, co-workers, and referral sources as it relates to patient services and third party reimbursement.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with updating respiratory grid
- Clears previous day's route and checks all paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Communicates with patients/clients and referral sources both verbally and in writing to ensure patient/client questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
- Completes SOPs/CMNs and documents on tracking log
- Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures to meet JCAHO and company standards
- Coordinates all patient information, processes paperwork, including preparation of file for Billing Department, and completes batch reports for UPS deliveries
- Maintains referral log
- Monitors office supplies
- Prepares deposit for location on a weekly basis
- Prepares invoices for next day routes
- Processes paperwork-confirms tickets, inputs new patient set-ups, and assembles charts
- Provides service for all retail/walk-in equipment requests
- Provides technical assistance to customers
- Verifies Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage information
- Works with outside agencies to resolve customer issues
- May be required to cover on call, drive a company vehicle and make deliveries to patient's homes
- Predictable and regular attendance (arrive to work on time)

Qualifications:
- Employment is contingent on background investigation and drug screen

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Technician to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for delivery and set-up of equipment at the delivery address. Educates the patient and/or caregiver on the safe use and maintenance of the delivered item.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Adheres to company policies and procedures in regards to using personnel protective safety equipment and services
- Assists in resolving customer equipment problems under emergency conditions
- Assists with implementation of quality improvement programs to meet company and JCAHO standards
- Assumes on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy
- Communicates to supervisor any vehicle problems or conditions which would otherwise compromise the vehicle's safe operations
- Completes shipping papers when transporting hazardous materials in accordance to Rotech policy and procedures
- Completes written patient visit reports following setup and follow-up visits per company policy
- Delivers and educates patients on the safe use and maintenance of respiratory and HME equipment in the home or office setting
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company; and all applicable governmental regulations
- Develops basic reimbursement knowledge, completely documents all information
- Develops technical knowledge, as appropriate, of the HME or respiratory products
- Maintains assigned company vehicle in a clean and safe working condition

- Maintains home oxygen systems in patients' homes per company policy

What you will do
- Deliver, set up, maintain, and troubleshooting medical equipment at our patients' homes and healthcare facilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on the proper use of equipment
- Be the hero behind the scenes, making an impact each and every day
- Compassionate individuals with exceptional customer care
- Passionate, team-players who care about making a difference in the lives of others
- Flexibility to work varying hours, weekends and/or on-call when required
- Three consecutive years of driving history with no major moving violations or accidents
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Support inventory management by conducting regular counts of equipment pieces related to orders and returns.
- Receive daily site schedule and review mapping of routes. May make modifications to routes to ensure that time restraints are met.
- Assigns orders to DME Technicians for delivery
- Receives daily route to accomplish timely delivery of requested hospice equipment.
- Supports leadership with on-boarding and orientation of new employees.
- Assists in on-going training of existing employees by educating, training and coaching.
- Proven experience with Durable Medical Equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to coach/lead a team.
- Ability to provide empathetic, patient-focused service and support.
- Problem solving mindset and ability to work independently and efficiently.
