A family in South Burlington, Vermont, with a three-year-old child, is seeking a full-time nanny, for a temporary period of three (3) years, from October 1, 2025 to September 1, 2028. The nanny will serve as the primary caregiver for the child, including care at home during the day, evenings, and weekends, for up to 40 hours per week of on-duty time. The nanny will report to both working parents and participate in family life during work hours. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for the child.
• Removing hazards and establishing appropriate boundaries and rules to ensure a safe environment.
• Instructing and assisting the child in developing healthy personal habits, such as eating, resting, and personal hygiene.
• Teaching safe behaviors (e.g., asking for help when crossing the street, avoiding unsafe objects).
• Engaging in age-appropriate activities (playing, reading, arts and crafts) to encourage intellectual development.
• Assisting the child with bathing and bathroom routines.
• Observing the childs signs of illness or irregularities, taking temperatures, administering medication as directed, and transporting to doctor appointments as needed.
• Managing naps and rest schedules.
• Regularly communicating with parents about the childs activities, behaviors, and development.
• Organizing and supervising recreational and educational activities, such as sports, games, walks, and play dates.

Terms & Conditions of Employment: $18.39/hr., at 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime rate of pay is at least $7.59/hr. Overtime will be available as needed. The anticipated start date is October 1, 2025 with an end date of September 1, 2028. The geographic area of intended employment is South Burlington, Vermont.

Inbound Transportation: From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment of transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of employment.

Outbound Transportation: Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the workers reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

Disclosure of Daily Subsistence Amount: Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of 16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of 68.00 per day with receipts.

Three-fourths guarantee not required due to 2016 Omnibus: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

Provision of tools, equipment, and supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Single work week guarantee and frequency of pay: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The pay period is biweekly.

Statement of deductions from workers pay: The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions which are not required by law.

Reimbursement of border, visa, and related fees: The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.
