The Customer Validation Testing (CVT) team is at the forefront of developing solutions that power the largest networks in the world. Engineers on this team will collaborate with dedicated, dynamic, hardworking team members to work on the qualification and automation of influential technologies, XR platforms, and solutions for deployment in high-end Cisco Web and Service Provider customers, impacting an endless number of users worldwide. The team is comprised of talented engineers with diverse experience levels, ranging from 3 to over 20 years, bringing significant expertise to the table. With a global presence, the team operates from centers in the US, Canada, and India.

Your Impact

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, automating, configuring, and qualifying customer use cases based on IOS-XR for platforms such as ASR9K, NCS5500, and 8000. This role includes:

• Crafting, automating, configuring, and qualifying customer use cases based on IOS XR platforms, generating test plans, and dynamically prioritizing tasks based on customer demands.
• Designing and developing innovative test frameworks and tools to support the test execution environment, as well as developing web-based GUIs that use analytics and machine learning to thoughtfully display and analyze execution results.
• Driving test cases both manually and through automation, raising, tracking, prioritizing, and verifying defects and fixes.
• Proactively seeking continuous improvements in test coverage, execution, and automation, optimizing performance and configuration dimensioning.
• Reproducing customer issues in internal test labs as requested by the customer support team.
• Collaborating with the development team, account team, and customers to understand and validate customer use cases.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience or Masters in STEM with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Networking domain experience working with L2 or L3 networking protocols such as ISIS, BGP, MPLS, IPv6, GRE, MPLS-TE, LDP, RSVP, Segment routing, L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN.
• Experience in networking software quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate in CCIE (Routing & Switching / Service Provider / Data Center).
• Experience on platforms such as ASR9K, NCS5500, NCS5000, NCS540/NCS560, NCS6K, CRS, 8000.
• Demonstrated experience with RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) technologies and related protocols such as InfiniBand, RoCE, or iWARP.
• Experience in OpenFlow, Netconf & REST API.
• Background in network automation tools like pyATS, Ansible, Jenkins, Robot framework, and Cisco NSO.
• Expertise in UNIX/Linux environments and Bash/Unix Shell Scripting, with experience in configuring/fixing protocols such as L2/L3 VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing, IPv6, MPLS-LDP/RSVP-TE, Multicast, SNMP, Telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, Netconf & OpenConfig Yang Models.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $175,000 - $25,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position also includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Our vehicle connectivity team is looking for a software engineer with experience shipping software in the network stack. You'll be part of a team that's working to ship the best and most reliable connectivity in any vehicle. Your role will focus on designing and implementing software on the Linux-based platform in our vehicle, and building the tooling we use to monitor and improve it.

We are making major changes to our networking software, and you'll be at the heart of it. You'll participate in the design process, and work closely with our application and cloud teams to ensure we're building a well-integrated system. Your software will be running on hardware that we design, so you'll work closely with hardware teams to meet the tricky power and reliability requirements of vehicles.

1. Defines and leads corporate software strategy for new technology, highly complex features, or significant enhancements for current, new, or major programs.

The salary range for this role is $177,000 - $271,600. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

We are looking for an outstanding hands-on architect/engineer for a Senior HPC architect role to support deployment and bringup of large-scale GPU compute clusters. Be a key player to enable the most exciting computing hardware and software and contribute to the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and GPU computing. Provide insights on and implement at-scale system administration and tuning mechanisms for large-scale compute runs. You will work with the latest accelerated computing and Deep Learning software and hardware platforms, and with many scientific researchers, developers, and customers to craft improved workflows and develop new, leading differentiated solutions. You will interact with HPC, OS, GPU compute, and systems specialist to architect, develop and bring up large scale performance platforms.

What you’ll be doing:

Provide engineering solutions to operationalize the latest GPU Computing and Networking products and software stacks, ensure technical relationships with internal and external engineering teams, and assisting systems, machine learning/deep learning engineers in building creative solutions based on NVIDIA technology. Be an internal reference for system administration, at-scale fabric health and performance analysis, and other datacenter and large-scale GPU-accelerated system solutions among the NVIDIA technical community.

What we need to see:

• 5+ years of experience using accelerated computing for datacenter/HPC-based Enterprise computing solutions.

• Solid understanding of accelerated computing scheduling and I/O stacks.

• C/C++/Python/Bash programming/scripting experience.

• Experience working with engineering or academic research community supporting high performance computing or deep learning.

• Experience with parallel filesystems.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Experience deploying and maintaining high speed networks like Infiniband or Ethernet for compute and storage traffic

**Your impact**
