We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Virtualization Networking Engineer to design, implement, and manage networking solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware NSX-T, F5 Load Balancers, Layer 2 & Layer 3 VPN (L2L), BGP Routing, Virtual Cloud Director (vCD), vSphere, and various VMware products Knowledge of Oracle OCI Networking is required, and familiarity in AWS and Azure networking is a plus.
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence once a week on Wednesdays. The position is based in either Plano, TX or New York City (NYC).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned as required.)
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware NSX-T network virtualization solutions, including micro-segmentation, distributed firewall, and network automation.
- Design and implement networking solutions in Oracle OCI, AWS, and Azure, including Compartments, VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables, VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute/FastConnect, and load balancing.
- Conduct VMWare NSX V to T migrations.
- Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity solutions between on-premise VMware environments and cloud providers.
- Configure and optimize F5 Load Balancers (LTM, GTM, APM, ASM) to ensure high availability, redundancy, and security.
- Implement and manage Layer 2 & Layer 3 VPN (L2L) solutions for secure connectivity between data centers and cloud environments.
- Configure and maintain BGP routing for dynamic network communication and optimized traffic flows across multi-site deployments.
- Manage and optimize VMware vCloud Director (vCD) for multi-tenant cloud environments, including resource provisioning and networking.

- 4+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on VMware NSX networking and VMWare virtualization suite (vCloud Director, vSphere, etc).

- In-depth knowledge of BGP routing, VPN (L2L), and network segmentation strategies.
- Experience managing VMware vCloud Director (vCD) for multi-tenant environments.
- Expertise in Oracle OCI, AWS, and Azure networking, including VPCs, virtual networking, cloud security, and hybrid connectivity.

Job duties include configuring hardware and software, programming switches, routers, radios, multiplexers, demultiplexers and GPS receivers, and the installation, repair, advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of network communication systems including but not limited to; installation of power surge protection, electrical wiring, backup generator and UPS equipment, evaluating safety concerns, FAA tower lighting systems, evaluating antenna performance and signal loss. Demonstrated knowledge of microwave data circuits, microwave RF links, microwave path loss, UHF and VHF propagation characteristics, transmission lines, complex antenna systems, standalone VHF and UHF repeaters, multiplexers, demultiplexers, switches and routers that provide mission critical network connections, trunked and conventional two-way radio base stations. Network communication systems include all computing and communication devices, multi-vendor equipment and communications software. Duties also include assessing communication network system and software needs, evaluating equipment for compatibility with existing network resources, assisting with network design, and resolving network and communications operation problems. Employee must have sufficient knowledge to consult with and resolve communication issues that arise with other agencies on the VIPER system. Employee must analyze software and hardware options to assure functionality, reliability, compatibility and manufacturer credibility for the VIPER network.
This position supports the VIPER network that carries data, and voice communications across the state for the operational needs of numerous local and county government public safety agencies and others to include but not limited to; the State Highway Patrol, Alcohol Law Enforcement, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Emergency Management, the State Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services of an increasing number of counties. The VIPER network now has over 170,000 end users that depend on it for public safety radio communications.Based on end users, it is the largest trunked radio system in the world.

Position Responsibilities: Assist with all strategic and long range network design, planning and implementation - hardware, software, support and maintenance (i.e. SmartNet) Assist in planning and monitoring budgeting initiatives related to all network devices and operations Provide day-to-day support for all network components including monitoring, troubleshooting, implementation and device lifecycle management Have complete ownership for all WAN and LAN routing and switching, Wireless Access Infrastructure, S2S connectivity and firewall configuration and management Experience with multiple circuit providers (including international if possible) and services (Ethernet, MPLS, VPN, NAT, etc.) Provide enterprise-level expertise to diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and assist others within the organization Act as an escalation resource for other members of the support team Take ownership of technical issues from conception to resolution Advise colleagues on workflows and best practices, helping them achieve the firm's desired results Provide technical subject matter expertise to colleagues on products and strategic projects Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years experience implementing and supporting Cisco IT Infrastructure. Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN Infrastructure, and IT security. Demonstrated ability to design, configure and maintain complex core infrastructure services. Strong written communication and documentation skills; ability to convey complex information to a broad audience with differing needs Experience operating within a complex environment. Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams and remote teams. Brings a positive and proactive nature to the teams. Experience defining, implementing, and supporting business processes. Job Summary:
Duties: Builds relationships with referral sources via presentations, face to face contacts, phone calls, meetings, etc. in an effort to increase revenue through direct referrals. Works with other members of the FirstLight team (Scheduler, Office Manager, etc.), to monitor goals as they pertain to billable hours, number of clients, and/or revenue. Reports schedule and results to their immediate supervisor on a weekly basis, discusses Networking activities, and revises their plan as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Strongly recommend college degree in Business, Marketing or Health Care, along with
two years related experience and/or training.
2. Experience in home care or other service industry preferred.
3. Requires proficiency in contact relationship management (CRM) software.
4. Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills as well as a positive, professional, business image.
Essential Functions:
-Seeks out and develops relationships with various Referral Sources.
-Conducts at least 35 visits per week - mix of medical and non-medical / new and follow up calls.
-Establishes a Networking plan and actively uses it as a working tool, which is revisited as requested/needed.
-Visits existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships.
-Updates prospects, clients, and referral sources database for contact/and or mailing lists.
-Tracks Networking efforts and reviews them with supervisor on a weekly basis.
