**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in nursing
+ At least 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
+ At least 5-years licensed health care practice
+ A minimum of 3 years Oncology/Hematology clinical experience
+ At least 1- year clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience
+ Professional license required: Registered Nurse - State Board
+ Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities
Ascension Seton is looking for an APRN or PA with Oncology Experience. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at our Infusion and Oncology Clinic located in Austin, TX. The APP in this infusion room role will be responsible for assessing and managing patients as needed who are receiving chemotherapy and biotherapy. APP will collaborate with RNs and MDs to prevent and manage complications as needed, as well as provide chemo education for new patients. Provider will manage all emergent labs and imaging calls for the oncology providers from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions.
• Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
• Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

Responsibilities
Ascension Seton is looking for an APRN or PA with Oncology Experience. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at our Infusion and Oncology Clinic located in Austin, TX. The APP in this infusion room role will be responsible for assessing and managing patients as needed who are receiving chemotherapy and biotherapy. APP will collaborate with RNs and MDs to prevent and manage complications as needed, as well as provide chemo education for new patients. Provider will manage all emergent labs and imaging calls for the oncology providers from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions.
• Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.
• Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.

**About the Role**
The Senior Vice President (SVP), Oncology is a key clinical executive responsible for leading oncology-related utilization management, quality improvement, and clinical operations across Evolent's value-based care platform. This role ensures consistent, high-quality adjudication of oncology decisions and serves as a strategic liaison between clinical teams and clients.
+ Directly manage field medical directors focused on medical oncology, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology
+ Provide leadership to overall oncology service line activities including operational excellence, product innovation, clinical partnerships, and financial impact assessment
+ Lead provider and member engagement strategies to improve the quality of care for oncology care services
+ Lead the development of new clinical interventions that increase value for members while mitigating the increasing cost of oncology care
+ Lead the development of strategies for care management, utilization mitigation, and value-based incentive programs
**Desired Skill Set**
+ 15+ years in clinical oncology practice experience
+ 10+ years leading national oncology programs with deep regulatory expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial
+ 5+ years as a national leader in the oncology space with participation in national forums related to oncology care
+ Experience in health plan operations highly desirable.
+ Proficiency creating and leading presentations to key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization, including health plan executives, investors, physician groups and trade associations.
+ Comfort and skill in leading and managing significant and fast-paced organizational change and clinical integration.
+ Demonstrated ability to engage, inspire and galvanize teams around mission and impact generally, and in the midst of business transformation.
+ Growth mindset willing to test new interventions alongside other teams.
Authentic voice used to center patient and provider experience internally and externally.
+ Ability to work as a utility player across growth, business development, financial and analytics teams, along with clinical workforce and operations.

**Experience we look for:**
+ MD, DO board certification in oncology
+ Active/Unrestricted Medical License in one or more states
+ Board Certified (ABMS or Specialty Board)
+ 7+ years managing clinical/physician teams
+ 15+ clinical practice experience
+ 5+ years of senior level experience leading clinical operations in a health plan environment
+ Skilled communicator with executive presence and stakeholder engagement experience
+ The position is remote with 20% travel expected.

**What You'll Be Doing:**
The Nurse Reviewer is responsible for performing precertification and prior approvals. Tasks are performed within the RN/LVN/LPN scope of practice, under Medical Director direction, using independent nursing judgement and decision-making, physician-developed medical policies, and clinical decision-making criteria sets. Acts as a member advocate by expediting the care process through the continuum, working in concert with the health care delivery team to maintain high quality and cost effective care delivery.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Performs utilization review of outpatient procedures and ancillary services.
+ Fulfills on call requirements for selected clients as scheduled.
+ Determines medical necessity and appropriateness of services using clinical review criteria.
+ Accurately documents all review determinations and contacts providers and members according to established timeframes.
+ Appropriately identifies and refers cases that do not meet established clinical criteria to the Medical Director.
+ Appropriately identifies and refers quality issues to UM Leadership.
+ Appropriately identifies potential cases for Care Management programs
+ Collaborates with physicians and other providers to facilitate provision of services throughout the health care continuum.
+ Performs accurate data entry.
+ Communicates appropriate information to other staff members as necessary/required.
+ Participates in continuing education initiatives.
+ Collaborates with Claims, Quality Management and Provider Relations Departments as requested.
+ Availability on some weekends and holidays may be required
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**The Experience You'll Need (Required):**
+ Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with a current, unrestricted license.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ Minimum of three years of direct clinical patient care
+ Minimum of one year of experience with medical management activities in a managed care environment
+ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM PST, with weekend and holiday rotation required.
**Finishing Touches (Preferred):**
+ Experience with clinical decision-making criteria sets (i.e. Milliman, InterQual)
+ UM Experience
