**What You'll Be Doing:**
The Oracle Developer will provide technical and functional support for a suite of applications using Oracle database technologies including an in-house developed java application, data warehouse and an Oracle EBS implementation. This position will work with the business and the development teams to understand the business requirements and to design and develop database changes in support of system solutions.
**What We Are Looking For:**
+ Must have Oracle database design and development experience

+ Experience of developing SQL/PLSQL programs, BI Publisher Reports in E-business environment.
+ Experience of working in E-Business (Release 12) modules such as Supply chain Management Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory , Account Receivables, Account Payables, General Ledger & EBS Tax .
+ Able to Work directly with EBS functional specialists or business users to thoroughly understand and document functional requirements.
+ Nice to have Skills: OAF, Shell Scripting, Oracle Cloud experience
+ Experience in ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) in for Data Warehouse applications and reporting.
+ Willing to provide Production support as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:

- 5+ years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of the bachelor's degree.
- Experience must include an in-depth technical knowledge and at least three years of experience in the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials applications, and related Oracle technology stack.
- Strong SQL and PLSQL knowledge
- Technical knowledge and three years of experience in the SQL Loader, workflow, BI Publisher, XML, and Unix shell scripting.
- Oracle Apex development experience
- Strong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge and three years of experience of OAF and J-Developer.
- Rest API/Webservices/Event driven development experience preferred.
- Integrations from Oracle EBS into SAAS applications ( Eg: Salesforce)
- Google Cloud knowledge preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups.
- Experience working in multi-platform environment.
- Ability to balance both development and support roles.

Job Description
Wake County Information Technology is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Developer to help drive innovation and efficiency in the applications which our customers use. This role focuses on supporting customer-facing applications by enhancing the way our databases work, streamlining stored procedures and optimizing batch processes that power our enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation and a proactive mindset to improve how our applications interact with data. As part of the Land Records Development Team within the County's Information Technology Division, the selected candidate will contribute to the ongoing maintenance and advancement of our database and application services, helping to ensure they remain robust, efficient and aligned with the County's evolving needs.
Primary responsibilities include:   
- Demonstrated expertise in Oracle development, including advanced PL/SQL programming, procedure design and complex debugging across enterprise-scale database environments
- Proven ability to manage and monitor batch job workflows that execute SQL processes, ensuring timely completion, error handling and performance optimization across complex data environments
- Serve as a data domain expert for an existing enterprise application
- Foster solid, professional relationships with customers and collaborate to deliver high-quality, tailored services that consistently exceed expectations
- Provide technical leadership and end-to-end ownership of products, guiding key initiatives from design through delivery as needed

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field
