As the Sr. SQL Developer, you will provide technical leadership in the development of data to be used for reporting on Energy & Transportation (E&T) business and/or development, integration and implementation of data projects. This position reports to the Data Manager, as do other staff jobs in application systems and technical data sections. **What You Will Do:**
+ Competent to perform all programming, project management, and development assignments without close supervision; normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work.
+ Acts as team leader for development and support groups; provides programming, database and application/technical leadership, guidance, and assistance to other team members.
+ Works directly on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution.
+ Works independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or reporting systems.
+ Develops major system modules, programs or integrates new database components based on requirements gathered from our E&T partners.
+ Performs integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components that require careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join our Agile/Scrum team. This position will focus on managing and developing solutions for CMS Interoperability and TCM auto assignment.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL code and databases for CMS Interoperability and TCM auto assignment projects
  • Collaborate with agile/scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions in line with project timelines
  • Participate in daily scrum calls, sprint planning, and reviews
  • Ensure data integrity and optimize database performance
  • Develop and implement data standards and best practices for interoperability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 6-7+ years' experience as a SQL Developer, particularly in healthcare or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards and CMS Interoperability
  • Proficiency in SQL coding, database design, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in scrum teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to report progress effectively in scrum calls

Preferred:

  • Experience with TCM auto assignment processes
  • Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in healthcare data management
  • Experience with Qvera would be a plus

**Job Description:**
ISQL developer must develop high-quality database solutions to implement and optimize with stored procedures and functions using Oracle PL/SQL. They will review and interpret ongoing business and functional requirements and research the required data structures. They must build appropriate and effective reporting deliverables with existing SQL and analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements. They will investigate exceptions concerning asset movements.
+ Create and manage data flow and data models for various systems.
+ Provide troubleshooting and support for database instances in dedicated and multi-node clustered SQL Server environments.
+ Participate in identifying stored procedure enhancements for database performance, reliability, and stability.
+ Respond to client requests for data by mining a data warehouse.
+ Develop requirements from data requests and develop necessary SQL queries to produce output.
+ Act as a liaison between the development team leadership, coding teams, and support teams.
+ Provide guidance to software engineers, architects and additional team members.
+ Perform QA tests to ensure data integrity and quality.
+ Review workflow charts developed by business analysts and programmers.
+ Design and document database architecture using logical and physical data modeling tools and utilities.
+ Run routine and ad-hoc queries as requested by the client.
+ Conduct data exploration of new tables and schema in a data warehouse environment.
+ Participate in technical design and requirements gather meetings with stakeholders.
+ Assist with mapping activities to assist with data normalization activities.
+ Demonstrate ability to analyze resource bottlenecks and provide suggestions to team, management, and internal customers on how to alleviate pressure and plan for capacity.
**Qualifications**
+ Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server software and systems.
+ High level of proficiency with PL/SQL exception handling.
+ Experience with TOAD and TOAD Data Modeler
+ Experience with on-premise Microsoft Azure DevOps.
+ Experience with C# coding language
+ Fluency in scripting, debugging and relational databases.
+ Comfortable running analysis services
+ Preferred certified Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate
+ Preferred Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or information technology or equivalent experience.
+ Preferred COMPTIA Security+ Certification
+ Preferred experience with DoDAF documentation

The likely salary range for this position is $117,300 - $158,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Key Responsibilities:
