The Logistics Inventory Control I role is responsible for managing inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations through effective utilization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). This position plays a critical role in maintaining smooth receiving workflows, ensuring stock integrity, and providing timely communication to internal teams.

**What You'll Be Doing:**
This position will be working in RDR (Receiving Discrepancy Reporting). The RDR associate is responsible for the following, but not limited to:
+ Receiving and Storing of product
+ Resolving PO discrepancies
+ Researching PO and part information on the WMS and other warehouse systems
+ Identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies
+ Working closely with the Asset, Sales, Quality and other warehouse teams
+ Supporting production roles when and where necessary

Primary Function
Compiles records concerning quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisition needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order. **Position Summary**
Primary responsibility to monitor modules for exceptions for inventory and location discrepancies. Also responsible for conducting physical inventories, researching locator problems, and adjusting the book inventory with the approval of the Inventory Control Supervisor. Responsible for assigned production locations and thereby the Warehouse Service Level.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Make necessary adjustments to the inventory by completing an Inventory Transaction form with the Inventory Control, Supervisor's approval and, when necessary, keypunch this data into the system to include keypunching markouts.
+ Check the Item Backup Report for credits; research the credits and take the necessary action to alleviate the credit, either by expediting the merchandise to the pick location or by making an approved adjustment to the inventory.
+ Take other physical inventories as requested by Management, Buyers, Accounting, Merchandise Billing, or Production.
+ Perform scanning functions when required and make adjustments as requested by the appropriate personnel.
+ Conduct Cycle Counts as required and communicate with Buyers, Buyer's Secretaries, Accounting Personnel, Merchandise Billing, CO-OP, the Inventory Control Supervisor, and other Management members regarding any inventory discrepancies.
+ During cycle counts and daily operations, review any merchandise with an expiration date, date code, or lot control number, and expedite the Return-To-Vendor (RTV) procedure by notifying the Buyer and Returns Processor, adjusting the inventory, and moving the merchandise to Returns.
+ When required, operate turret trucks, fork trucks, order pickers, or any other mobile-powered equipment in a safe, responsible manner as defined in the Operation training and Certification Program and through Management directives.
+ Review the new items reports daily to identify items to be slotted.
+ Review each day's receipts and the new items staging area throughout the day for any new items to be assigned locations (slotted).
+ Allocate a home and pick location for each regular new item by attaching item tickets to the home location rack.
+ Cut cartons, determine the proper stock prep code, and then fill the assigned location with the new item.
+ Monitor merchandise velocity reports regularly to determine when changes or revamps are necessary.
+ Remove discontinued merchandise from all of its Pick, Backup and Random locations and remove all item tickets. Notify Return Goods personnel or Supervisor when completed.
+ Complete a Daily Activity Worksheet neatly and accurately and submit it to the I.C. Supervisor at the end of each workday.
+ Maintain neat and accurate files of all slotting activity as a backup to the on-line system.
+ Process and prepare all transfer requests.
+ Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor/Management.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 1-2 years' experience in Inventory Control in a warehouse environment
+ Must be self-motivated and a team player able to work independently and in groups.
+ Must have a good attendance and safety record
+ Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must have good math and problem-solving skills and be able to reason logically.
+ Ability to read, write and count accurately.

**Job Summary:** **The Inventory Control Analyst will be an essential position to execute all inventory control functions including: running daily reports, tracking inventory, research discrepancies, maintaining inventory levels, month end reconciliation, yearly physical inventory, cycle count reporting, and driving continual improvements. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess a high level of analytical and problem solving skills as it relates to inventory accuracy and the impact on the overall business.**

**Responsibilities:**
+ Review and analyze daily and weekly inventory adjustments and changes.
+ Support the preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly reporting of inventory control results and activities from the warehouse management system (WMS).
+ Analyze and report on metrics and recommend ways to improve the inventory control function.
+ Develop, maintain and evaluate queries and reports from the WMS to support inventory control activity analysis and reporting.
+ Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity.
+ Analyze existing business processes and logic that impact inventory throughout the company through personal observation and user interaction.
+ Develop new applications and tools as well as ad hoc and refreshable reports to help with root cause analysis or to streamline related processes.
+ Perform data analysis and audits of operation processes, inventory movement analysis and other procedures.
+ Develop deep understanding of WMS features and functionality to facilitate analysis, interface with users from other departments and IT and resolve issues.
+ Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
+ Must be flexible with start and end times that are communicated in advance that support Inventory Control best practices for large Distribution Centers. This involves overtime as needed and Special Projects.
+ May require evening shift.
+ Meet performance expectations with limited supervision in accordance of standard work and in line with the unique dynamic of the IC department.
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Prior experience in Inventory Control, Quality, or Audit Service.
