We are seeking **UAS Red Air Pilots** for future program needs who will be responsible for performing operational responsibilities for COTS UAS fixed-wing and rotary platforms and supporting systems to gather intelligence for mission planning, mission sensor/payload operations, launching, remotely piloting, and recovering remote piloted ground and air vehicle systems. The UAS Red Air Pilot will be available and willing to deploy to the CENTCOM AOR for up to 6-12 months at a time rotating with other deployers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for the acquisition, fabrication, modification, programming, and maintenance of multi-rotor and fixed-wing COTS UAS platforms - Group 3 and Turbines, for training and test events.
+ Launches and recovers the air vehicle, performs pre-flight, in flight, and post flight checks.
+ Assist with vulnerability site assessments to inform analyst team about possible use of UAS.
+ Coordinate with national and international intelligence agencies to develop data sharing capability, trend analysis and procedures.
+ Plan, coordinate, and act as safety officer for flight operations during training and test events.
+ Provide comprehensive technical red-team analysis.
+ Perform all functional duties independently.
+ Work and live in a small team environment.
**OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:**
+ When not traveling, this position operates on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday with expectations of reporting onsite at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.
**TRAVEL:**
+ The position requires CONUS and OCONUS travel to include rotational deployments of up to six months.
+ Travel CONUS and OCONUS (to possible conflict areas) on short notice to disseminate relevant threat information.
**Qualifications**
**CLEARANCE:**
+ Active Secret clearance at the time of application with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
**EDUCATION:**
+ MA/MS degree with three (3) yrs experience.
+ BA/BS with four (4) yrs experience.
+ AA/AS with five (5) years of experience.
+ High school diploma or equivalent with seven (7) years of experience.
**CERTIFICATION(S):**
+ Must possess or be able to obtain a Certified FAA UAS Pilot License (FAA Part 107).
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ Experience instructing large groups of low- and high-ranking personnel in a military environment.
+ Experience with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing aircraft, to include hobbyist UAS experience.
+ Demonstrated experience in pre-deployment training and knowledge exchange supporting field training exercises (FTX), Validation Exercises (VALEX), and other technical exchange events.
+ Must be able to successfully complete CRC and deploy to CENTCOM theater.
+ Experience with all RPV (land, air, and sea) and ability to design/fabricate with limited instructions or pre-built kits.
+ Ability to research emerging RPV technologies, describe their advantages, and the impact to DoD capabilities.
+ Knowledge of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP).
+ Ability to take technical RPV knowledge and inform/instruct others about the technology, capabilities and limitations, and impacts to DoD capabilities.
+ Proficient in utilizing standard MS Office computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
+ Define and carry out scenarios (in test events or training events) in which RPV technology can be utilized.
+ Ability to understanding and interpret customer requirements in order to influence correct use of the RPV technology at technical exchange events or test events.
+ Ability to work independently while in other locations and interacting with other organizations and military units.

We’re hiring a Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers. This pilot will be qualified to fly our AS350/H125. Scheduled shifts run seven days on / seven days off, 12hr shifts and service day or night trips. Safety is a key pillar of our services, therefore all of our pilots work on a quality, professional team that are committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.
Essential Functions/Duties:
• Coordinates and communicates effectively with dispatch, medical crew, and ground contacts to ensure seamless transport operations.
• Operates the aircraft in accordance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual guidelines and company standards, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors current and forecasted weather conditions and ensures proper flight planning.
• Conducts pre-flight inspections before each shift and/or flight using the appropriate Rotorcraft Flight Manual. Records any discrepancies in the engineering log and notifies maintenance for corrective actions.
• Reports aircraft damage, malfunctions, or personnel injuries to Communications Center as soon as possible.
• Performs routine housekeeping duties in the hangar and crew quarters in coordination with medical and maintenance staff.
• Participates in cleaning and upkeep of the aircraft, including wash and wax duties.
• Completes required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, including flight logs and reports.
• Upholds REACH’s values and commitment to safety, service, and team professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Certifications:
• FAA Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter Certificate
• FAA Helicopter Instrument Rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pilot Minimum Requirements:
• 2,000 helicopter flight hours
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours
• 1,000 turbine hours
• Min. 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided and/or unaided)

Pilot Incentives:
• Hourly position
• 20% geographical modifier to base pay
• $15,000 sign-on bonus
• 40K Retention Bonus a ter 36 Months in the GMR Pilot Retention Bonus Plan
• 24-hour pilot housing provided
• 7-on7-off schedule

Physical Requirements:
• 230-pound weight limit (including flight gear)
• Frequently required to sit for extended periods
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
• Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Required to work near moving mechanical parts and in various weather conditions
• Frequently exposed to bloodborne pathogens, airborne particles, and in-flight vibrations
• Noise levels require wearing a headset
